that school was my life ... its amazing i just glad that i was one of the lucky ones to attend... its hard to sit here and not cry ... because i just graduated in 08 and im looking about at the times that i had .. like ms silva said ... it was/ is magical

Class of 1991 here! LACHSA was a very special place for me. It changed my life to say the least. The trailer looks fine to me. I don't see what's unprofessional about it. To each his own I suppose. My only criticism is that, as a musician, I would be disappointed for the music and visual arts departments to be omitted from the movie.

they changed it cus no one will know wat lachsa is if u tell it to your frens. then u have to say los angeles county high school for the arts. arts high make is simpler.thers also a new principle

they didnt permanently change the name, they just decided staff should start using the name Arts High instead of LACHSA, but they dont care if students say lachsa or anything. only stuff like the bulletin say arts high, and theyre screwing up on it so they dont really care all that much about it

i dont know how many, but we have around 500 in the campus

Not only does it leave out departments, that is an AWFUl trailer. really, terrible. like, that's not even professionally done.the fact that people spent time and money on this project just to have it tasteless, over emotional, and ironically lacking in any kind of art, is embarrassing to both the filmmakers and the school.

hah. wow. Just leave out the visuals and the musicians all together. So this video talks about this "magical" place where people all just come together and lah dee dah..yet they exculde two whole departments of the school. Way to go.

I attended the 1st year of LACHSA in 1985 to 1988.  Every word is true. One of the most blessed experiences. My music teacher, John Waddell, inspired me with his passion and love for music and each student he taught. He's past on now, and I imagine he is directing the angels. I can't wait to get there and sing along.
