This is a wonderful song--thank you Yusuf. I love folk music of all types. Strangely enough, the Irish have incorporated the bouzouki and the banjo in their folk music for some time. Search for "The High Kings Maire's Wedding" and you will see an Irish musician playing one, although in a strumming, not picking, style. Search for "Gerry O'Connor On Irish Banjo" for an example of an Irish musician playing the banjo. Isn't music grand?
