Pete Droge is a trickey bastard. It's a partial open D tuning. Tune the high E down to D, the B down to A, and the G down to F#. Leave the low E alone or it won't be playable. This is the only way I've found to get it to sound exactly the way he plays it. The fingering is pretty simple. I'll post a video if I get a chance or if no one else does anytime soon.
