I don't think he's autistic, but however there was an episode on House with an autistic boy portrayed by Braeden Lemasters in the episode Lines in the Sand.
Andy's character "Johnny" is autistic, according to the script.. He is a non-verbal, no-eye-contact autistic, who was brought out of his shell by his teacher's love and patience. When she went into the hospital, he regressed to non-verbal, non-eye-contact again. His mother had to bring him to the hospital to see his teacher so she could bring him back.
Oh ok I see, I apologize. I got this all wrong, I also have autism myself (PDD which is mildly autistic) and with the title I thought that it was something else. Do you mind me asking what was it like portraying someone with autism? Did you study on your role? Coming from someone with autism and having had been diagnosed at 4 years old you did a wonderful job portraying someone with autism. I could kinda tell as well he was autistic but also wanted to be sure as well :).
Dude... I gotta ask, how was acting with Hugh Laurie?
