@jesusthesecond Thanks bud, yep to get most from blues you also gotta step outside of standard tuning, i never played in standard for years now. Any of the open tunings give blues a different feel. I never seen tab for this tune anywhere, some good YT videos out there which can point the way, thats how i got started with this tune.

@pete2778 Hi thanks, yes, as the skip james original, I play in D minor tuning, DADFAD, where the third string is lowered one tone from Open D tuning.

@EddyCBlues Thanks Eddy, this took me a while to get right too, i did find a YT instruction video by bobheaton really useful to start off with he talks you throught the basics of this really well. I see you have that rocking thumb bass line in D tuning down to a tee so really you should get this tune easy, but yep a good reso helps so much - I see you also got one of those!

Hi, sorry I've never seen tab for any Skip James music, main thing to do is get your guitar into D minor tuning. Search on youtube for bobheaton, he has a slowed down version of this tune that will get you on track. Good luck and enjoy working it out!
