  • claps claps claps , it's amazing!!

  • executed with precision and the funkiness is almost deadly; he's doing something right

  • which album is this from?

  • genial

  • The first time I heard something like dubstep was when my junglist DJ friends would deliberately slow their 45 records down to 33 at -8 to deliberately get the slower beats and thicker bass wobble sound. It reminds me of what happened to hardcore, first everyone started to making it faster and faster, then gradually people started slowing it down and making it heavier. but anyway, Kid Koala rocks.

  • wobble bass was around before dubstep was even in existance. Even after the inception of dubstep, it took 6 years for it to turn into the electronic vomit, "transformers having sex," sound that is typically referred to as BROstep. @ the guys arguing over dubstep and DJ Shadow

  • Next to DJ Krush this Dude is probably one of the best I have ever heard on a Turntable, he sure does linger lovingly over his music, you only have to listen to the precision of his back spin per minute!! He ain't interested in making you shake your butt, he just wants you to hear how a DJ should sound!! Long Live Underground!!

  • nothing wrong with dubstep in any of its variants and nothing wrong with overdosing on the skratch kingz too.

peep mixmaster mikes new shows before you hate on tobin and shadow

  • Fantastic. The best combination of scratch and blues I've heard so far

  • thank you for this ;)

  • hes scratched my soul

  • I respect Kid Koala so much for not succumbing to the dubstep craze like Amon Tobin and DJ Shadow have done. Keep it real Koala, keep it real...

  • @ElephantStealth yeah, maintain some style

  • @ElephantStealth shadow went dubstep? i really hope i read that wrong :(

  • @efrankie90 Well not full-on WUBWUBWUBWUBWUB dubstep, but I personally felt like he was trying to get in the action a bit, specifically with "Def Surrounds Us". I'm not a dubstep fan, but I'd gladly listen to something Shadow or Tobin make in that style over the actual stuff any day. "Def Surrounds Us" for example is a tight track by the way, don't get me wrong. :P

  • @efrankie90 He did, but it's real dubstep. Not that womp womp faggotry.

  • @StapleGunMS

    Fucking Aye, Mate.

  • this was wonderful

  • yiee!

  • oh yeahhhhhhhh

  • exactly 3 bit blues. so right

  • lol the only one whos posted this song i believe thanks :)
