Great example of what this Camera (Rebel t2i, 550d or Kiss x4) can do with this amazing lens. I've probably spent over $2k on other lenses but the Canon 1.8 50mm is the best in my arsenal, for filming and photography!
@gabrielri10 It's an edited effect, there generally isn't a preferred aspect ration, it's just set to whatever the editor wants it at :) look up "cinematic black bar effect" or something similar!
@jamessfromtx Oh no, I made a mistake, not the 1.8..it's the 1.2 USM that's a bit pricey & I want it. Nonetheless, I shall save up for this (1.8) =) How is your assessment with this lens, is it good for making films?
@0anlui0 It's awesome! The glass is really decent for the price. Great choice for low budget film making. Every Canon shooter I know owns one, and it's easy to see why once you use one.

@0anlui0 The 50mm 1.8 is only $100-130.That's the Canon brand, of course. There are other makes and models that can run over $1,000.
