now i could atheist apeshit on this, but really, i find nothing offesnive here. sure, i dont agree with it, but its a nice belief of hope. the only thing im generaly concerned about is the way it makes out humans to be naturlly sinful. usually, theologists agree man is raised by society to be sinful (no self esteem, dependance on others, etc) so i see no need to put down a child saying "theres something wrong eith you and everyone else" but still, i dont see it as "bad", just misguided.
@Extra365 I don't care what theologists say, I only care what God says, and He says every one of us is sinful and in need of a Saviour because we cannot by works, attain perfection which is God's standard, but only by belief and acceptance of Christ's work on the cross can you be free.

@Extra365 yes, sin is anything against the will of God. God's will is clearly outlined in the Bible, mainly, love God with all your heart, and love others as yourself, even your enemies. All the laws of the prophets hang on these two commandments. It's not about control, it's about love. If you love God you will obey Him, if you love your neighbor, you will not murder, lie to, covet, etc...God doesn't tell us this to control us, but to make us free, He created us, He knows what fullfills us

@Extra365 He is merciful but he is also just, There is not enough space here to explain everything to you but in each circumstance God acted justly, you really have to understand the context, the era, and what the events took place precipitating what happened to really understand it fully. A suggestion...read your Bible, really study it, not just pull ideas and quotes off of internet sites

@Extra365 God's glory is better shown by an ultimate act of redemption and His love and mercy are better understood by Christ's work on the cross, he loves you and He is God alone.
@Extra365 and you don't even realize that: since God create life, He also have the all the rights to take life. By the way, life on earth is nothing. Regarding His allowance of killing children, He wants to save the children's souls before it's too late. That is when they can decide rights and wrongs and still deep in the craps that their sinful ancestors have instilled in them. And to kill the adults? It's rightful to do so because they are the sources of unstopable sins, UNTIL THIS VERY DAY.
