How to Remove Old Device Drivers from Vista & Windows 7

nice job on the tut , thanks, i just got a computer with windows 7 and know nothing about it yet. so far i love 7, the new pc has an i3 cpu with a 4.9 windows rating. its not a gaming computer but plays most high end games just fine. i do need help on finding the right video card for gaming. i only have one pci-e16 slot.

Hey Dude My Computer passed everything but the graphics, its reading it as an UNKNOWN and IT Wont Update Any Further and the Screen is Bulky and Big it wont let me increase the Resolution like on XP, Is there anyway of fixing this or does it mean I need a new Graphics Card????

Your trick is fine, but did you try/know "Device Remover". It's propably the most advanced device manager in the world! I dont use the windows device manager anymore after using "Device Remover".

fair enough really, just id be surprised if your video editing software didnt give you and option to EQ the audio.

if you rolloff the high frequencies above about 8Khz then the 's' will mostly dissapear
