No offense but this sucks, first off, u can prbbly get a better tone if u use fingers instead of a pick, but thts up to u. If u want to use a pick, then thts fine, but u don't need to down pick evry note, if u alternate pick, then I'll get a better sound, cuz this is rlly like stiff and staccato sounding

@ballsruoff There are plenty of videos of me on YouTube playing with my fingers and plenty that I alternate pick on, I prefer to play this song with downstrokes and with a plectrum as I think it sounds better; hell, even the bassist of CKY plays this song with a plectrum...

And if you wanted to give me advice it would have been better done when I posted this video which was nearly 4 years ago.

It is a very under rated instrument and can be quite challenging, the small minded people out there can't see that though, they just hear lead guitarists such as Slash, Zakk Wylde, Les Paul, Chet Atkins etc. and assume that anyone who doesn't play to the same speed or same style must not be a good musician.

Funnily enough I use it all the time when I am playing guitar, but not bass.

When I am playing bass I tend to substitute my little finger for my ring finger, and when playing guitar I substitute my ring finger for my little finger.

Not sure why, just bad habbits I suppose.
