The japanese had not agreed or signed the First Geneva Convention prior or during WWII and they considered surrender a dishonourable act, hence their treatment of Americans was much worse and you cannot compare the American treatment of Japanese-Americans to that of the Americans in Japanese POW camps.

Simply, Americans had violated a law which their Government had agreed upon and the Japanese had not

If an American was captured, they were detained as POW, French resistance fighters were brutally tortured to death, most committed suicide if capture was inevitable. You call French pussies yet Americans sat at home profiting of the war effort while Europe was torn apart and millions died.

So far I have gone and read that Roosevelt was at fault what about Civilian Exclusion Order #5 that was caused by the military pointing out that the Japanese should go to these camps. All Executive Order 9066 stated was that the military was allowed to alienate people.
