  • "I'm gonna ask you just one more time, and it's local?" hahahahhahaha

  • people from the east coast shitting all over the west coast ideals.

  • I'm not sure how comfortable I am knowing that Colin was raised by Aliki.

  • These are the first people I'm going to eat when all hell breaks loose.

  • OH WOW!!!!!!!!!! Chicken is Kosher?

  • who are these people raising colin?

  • The moment you name an animal, its gonna be difficult to eat it. Leave poor Collin alone...but, please wack off the head of no-name over there...I'm getting hungry...lolz...

  • I started laughing just by reading the title " Is the chicken local? "

  • lol

  • This is literally how pathetic young people are in Santa Cruz California. The moan groan and bitch then jump into their dirty VW bus spewing exhaust smoke..... Yet buying a chicken locally is supposed to clear their guilty conscious.

  • I swear I have heard this kind of conversation in Portlandia.

  • PETA stands for People Eating Tasty Animals.

  • Why is the full sketch not on youtube >.<

  • This is a LITTLE overboard from the worst I've overheard in Portland. A little.

  • Poor Colin.

  • I'm confused about the imposition of the political viewpoint below. Does this fabulous satire reflect fake ass liberals or all liberals? Including fat ass and skinny ass? Or fake ass, fat ass and skinny ass rich people of all persuasions. I'm going to look up fake ass before I commit to using it incorrectly and offending all those who might take offense. No offense intended. Unless you have an offense fetish. Then, yes, you may take offense. But don't be mad. Just offended.

  • I went out to lunch with my vegetarian and vegan friends yesterday, and while it wasn't quite the same situation, the entire 20 minutes they were talking to the waiter I thought about this. The best part was they've seen this skit before and cracked the fuck up when I told them that this is what it looked like to me.

  • @piggylicous13 yes i agree, im from new york city i want to move to portland so bad lol

  • Im sorry to interrupt i had exactly the ame question

  • hahaha, omg...

  • This is THE best skit of the series, so far. Funny as hell. These two have chemistry! And the waitress is priceless!!!

  • Oh my gosh, it is astonishing how true this is!

  • Thiw is almost word for word ,action for action how these fake-ass rich liberals act

  • "I'm so bad with the gas pedal, it just moves the whole car forward."

  • in the real world, people like this need to farm their own food or just not eat meat

  • This is west coast liberals and progressives laughing at ourselves, it is funnier than Larry the Cable Guy because it is poking fun at us.

  • @cybrevid but the liberal sense of humor is like - 0

  • Lol this is Seattle to a tee, especially those emo douche bags on capitol hill.

  • WHEN YOU SAY "THEY" ...I MEAN WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE RAISING COLLIN????

  • totally watching the show now.

  • Poop on all of you. youtube poop...

  • An An An An An An An An An And An An An An Ehn Ehn Ehn Ehn

  • This show really highlights why I want to get an old Dodge Charger. A lot of very annoying people would find it highly offensive, and that's a noble cause indeed!

  • @JETZcorp

FIne comment. I'm a contractor in Portland and drive a big ol' Ford redneck truck with a lift kit and a really loud magnflo exhaust, and make a big point of revving it nice n loud when near the annoying people you speak of. Gets a rise every time, their indignant faces pointed at me in disgust.

  • @cquilty1 move to Texas jerkoff

  • @JefferySchmitz

Move out of Hillsboro to Vancouver, portlandia pussy - you can always commute bi-weekly for your organic tofu at New Seasons.......

  • @truedude, you are missing the point! Portland isn't like that. This is an extreme example, making fun of people like you that think this is what Portland is like.

You drove too slowly to the comment box.

  • Can I get the pizza with the cheese on the side? And and and, why don't you have a gluten free menu? Was this chicken massaged by a certified massage therapist? I have allergies, so would you mind reading the menu from over there? Kthanks.

  • @brrrklyn My sister has a serious gluten allergy. Before they knew what it was, they thought she might have had pancreatic cancer. It pisses me off when people jump on board the gluten-free train because they think it's a health fad, when in fact it's really for people with actual dietary problems.

  • @SporkTsar It pisses me off when people make assumptions about other people's lives.

Yes, gluten-free diets are meant for people that can hardly process gluten or are even allergic to it but the reality is, gluten is terrible for the body. It doesn't kill but it takes longer to process through the body (like a sludge of some kind) and it can cause blockage problems.

Generally, the people that hop onto your so-called "gluten-free train" realize the damage and don't want it to clog their bodies.

  • @WheresWaldoProd It is a fad based on hype and less understanding (not you of course) the problem with these fads is that people believe that going gluten free will be the health miracle for them when they should be doing gluten tests before hand and ensuring they do not have IBS where a gluten free diet can actually be detrimental. Eating gluten is not horrible if you are able to digest it from what I have seen the issue is that people eat too much of it. Moderation and portion control is key.

  • "I drove too slowly on the way here, didn't I?".

  • There is nothing wrong with caring about where your meat comes from. And Portland and the surrounding southwest Washington area are a pretty chill place to grow up in America.

  • @NovemberRainLove yeah coming from the shitty n.e. i thought id escape the weather only to now live in s. fla near miami...total trash hole...low life people ...too many people...i wish i lived in a place like portland...the show is great ....sort of reminds me of arrested development even tho its totally diff,

  • Fucking Brilliant. Brilliant! I've been telling folks for years how much Portland sucks. I mean, there are a LOT of people there who think Pink Martini is a great musical act. Holy cow. hahahahahaha!!!!

  • OK, time to eat vegetarian.

  • @MarleneKGoodman Chicken's not vegan?!

  • Use to live out there, right across the river from Portland, and this was part of the reason that I was glad to get out of there. To get away from people like this. Though, I do miss the mountains.

  • dickhead...

  • Well, it's better than *not* knowing where your meat comes from, I mean...oh crap I'm that guy.

  • Wow, that's great. Nailed the type perfectly!

  • Hilarious! this is my new favorite show!

  • This is a wonderfully sardonic video.
