thanks! I'm a student and so is my bf and we are moving together to an 180sqft apartment (including 2 rooms, bath and kitchen) and I'm really worried about the space, and how it will look like, and all, etc... but if your theory of 3-5-7 is correct, then I think we're allright... All furniture we hav are from someone else, but right now we have white, light brown, light blue and red furniture, so that's one neutral and three colours! Just have to make sure the rest fits these colours... :D

Hi, could you please tell us how do you paint large furniture? Do you use a brush and acrylic or oil based paint? For this particular project of your green lamps and picture frames, spray paint is easy and not so expensive. What about large furniture. I am thinking in repainting the powder room cabinets. My husband and I have an old coffee table that was his parents. We have a new one well new to us he doesn't want to get rid of the other one I don't blame him but I can't stand clutter so covering it up would be a great way to spruce it up

Cool idea to cover the coffee table - looks great, although I'm a big fan of glass... if it looks crappy/scratched,this was a great thing to do to make it new again.

That's a great way of decorating. I never thought of grouping things in certain numbers. It does make your house look really good, so your on to something here. Love your color choices.
