shit i have ran 35psi on stock 7. i was running 28 and an intercooler pipe blew off. and i cant find it. Probably because someone probably liked the polished thing.

yea it'll hold 30psi...stock block with supporting mods..but i blew mine too due to not supporting mods

Stock head studs and gasket? Had you ever had the head off before that?

Stock everything internal except 272's. The motor had never been apart prior to when I put a Cometic and ARP's in there after this dyno trip. Pistons and Cylinder walls looked perfect when I yanked the head.

stock motor handles 18-20 stock...and u pushed to 28...what do u expect man. plus did u even have a correct clean running tune for 28psi???

Stock motor handles pretty much whatever you can throw at it. The motor has no PSI rating, as the headgasket will give out long before the motor does stock. I did have a clean tune for 26 psi. Car ran for two seasons 12.1:1 solid wideband readout the entire pulls. Stock studs stretched and the head lifted on the dyno, not much I could do about it.

LMAO,stock motor only handling 18-20 stock...you must be REALLY fuckin stupid.Any DSM person knows a stock 4G63 is balanced from the factory n built for 500hp,thus the fully forged rotating assembly.I ran 28psi thru a 200K+ motor for a year,never had a single problem,sold the car running great.

I ran 26 psi for two seasons on that bone stock 7 bolt motor, yielding an 11.776 and 119.48mph in the 1/4. It held up fine.
