Maybe looks like a workers strike but the banksters are planing WWIII. Looks like the SK could be organized real fast for a war. The whole world is angery and protesting because the bankers dried up the money supply and could rally the people for war. The bankers just need to get them hugery and everyone fill fight.
The labor situation in South Korea is bad. Irregular workers make up a huge bulk of the workforce- some research groups say that irregulars make up to 70%. Irregualrs in Korea get paid poverty wages and many even get paid less than minimum wage. They have next to no rights and benefits and they usually get dismissed on mass if they stand up for themselves.
Poverty rates in South Korea are quite high and since 2000 debt has been used as a way to keep the consumer market goiing.
They want justice. The Ssangyong motors company had not paid their workers for over six months and gave completely unexpected layoffs.
The company completely REFUSED to negotiate and the workers were left with no choice but to occupy the plant. Instead of negotiation the company and police sent BRUTAL HIRED THUGS to beat o workers. People were killed by hired thugs and the police who showed no mercy in breaing up the strike.
@MetalHeart8787 "THEY protested many things they just have anti USA & Japan feelings."
This protest ABOVE has nothing to do with Japan, the USA or North Korea. It is about the KCTU, a labor union protesting against the Ssanyong motor company- a South Korean company owned at the time by the Chinese government. This is an internal labor dispute by the KCTU- a legal labor organisation since 1995 that is, for better or worse, acting in the self interest of its members.
Labor disputes are erutping all across South Korea because the current economic "recovery" has, at least in part, been off the backs of irregularisation of the workplace and mass layoffs. Sure the South Korean economy looks ok on paper with only 3% unemployment, but with almost half the workplace on irregular contracts and getting poverty wages I do not see the sustainability of this so called "recovery".
@MetalHeart8787 "BULLSHIT! if thats the Truth then i see why they protested."
Everything I tell you is the turth. It was management that refused negotiations for over one month. After negotiations were arranged with a three party meeting proposed for July 24 between the union, management and the local mayor; again it was management that pulled out. One hour before negotiations the management stated in a press conference that they will not turn up.
