  • Were all worm food..but this is what the trip is all about...goodness is what is love...dont take it from me and dont let your death bed tell you so...get out there and...love...deeply!

  • truly mesmerizing stuff!

  • Actually it wasn't. It was written for herself. But as her Dad thought it was written for him, and she secretly agreed like "Yeah.....it..is" she said it on a life performance somewhere on her.

  • this song is a classic

  • nice videos broooo. rock on.

  • hmmm... thought my comment would show up under the msg i was replying to... oh well, to be clear, this performance is awesome

  • test

  • I want to se her sing a duet with Jon Anderson.

  • shes got an amazing voice my mom listened to her and fllet wood mac so i love this music

  • i cry. every fuckin time. damn you stevie! haha i love this song so much<3

  • I'm crying.......grew up in the 80's and I miss everything about it.

  • In addition to everything else, Stevie was first and foremost a songwriter's songwriter.

  • Her voice and this song gives me chills!

  • This is a beautiful song... I heard it on the radio a lot when I was a little girl. Years later, I heard it sung by Dixie Chicks, and they didn't quite get it. You can just feel how the song is supposed to when you watch this.

  • This is the best song I have ever heard live. She does it just perfectly in this. I even like it better than my mp3 version.

  • DIXIE CHICKS are a group of pathetic hacks compared to Stevie Nicks.

  • I'm not into country music, but they did a nice job on her song. Not everything is as good as the original, but they did it the justice it deserved. I normally don't like remakes of songs, but both versions are really beautiful to me. I think it's the song in itself that is so beautiful.

  • Yes, but it's the dilution that endangers the original work of art. When people say 'it's all good', in truth, I can't say it is. Stevie is a better artist and better musician, imo, and they should have left her song alone unless they could really do it the justice worth dilution.

  • Totally. Anyone that touches this song has to be worthy and they definitely are not.

  • i just hate it when a 'new' version takes off and is clearly a hack... i wasnt too pleased with the butchering of dream academy's 'northern town'

  • i love this song.

its so beautiful and sad and her voice just carrys everything. beautiful

  • i luv her beautiful hoarse voice.

  • Dixie Chicks recorded this song in the honor of Stevie, not to compete with her.

  • Do any of you people know that she wrote this song about he ex, who happens to be the dude on the guitar. Its haunting, she is looking right at him during the song.

  • love her,, love this song

  • Dear god she is amazing live.

  • Some loves never die...some just can't be together.

  • Beautiful! 5/5

  • ho my god wot a great singer loved her singing seven wonders amazing no1 sn fan

  • SENSATIONAL!!!

  • Perfect!!

  • It's so hard to really tell what genre this song is. my one friend says it's country, but this is so much better than country, and Stevie Nicks is not a country singer. So I'm going go with "folk rock". You know, tells a story, like a more subtle rock.

  • I know that things have moved on between Stevie & Lindsey, but...somewhere, deep down, that look he gives her at that pause in the song...almost brings back hope to one of music's most adored, however lost, love stories. Sigh... :)

  • Stevei with her husband, a great due, she can sing every song for u..........go on Stevie, love u

  • The greatest female singer/songwriter/poet/artist of all freakin' time! Always love ya Stevie.

Thank you Stevie Nicks for your intensely singing and good guitarplayer

  • Stevie to me is the greatest female music artists EVER!!!! She has the best singing voice ever!

  • First trip in the USA, driving from Boston to Trenton, NJ.

Suddenly a voice from the radio "... this is for you daddy...."

  • The best part was cut off at the end!

"Thank you Lindsey. Thank you Stevie."

That transforms it from great to one of the greatest pieces ever performed!

  • Thanks for that.

  • Hey to you guys pitying the new generation---

Sure, maybe the radio sucks now. But who says that the young kids can't enjoy the great music of the past?

Just to have you know, I'm 16 and have explored nearly all the songs of several 70's bands.

Fleetwood Mac is my favorite band ever, and CCR, Led Zepellin, Pink Floyd, the Grateful Dead are all amazing as well. And then I get into some newer stuff with Black Crowes and Sublime. But hey, it's just a personal choice, no big deal. (:

  • Cool! You give me hope for the new generation! You remind me of.........well, myself!

  • This song is one of my many favorites by Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks

  • I listen to this while driving along with my bud to and from work. Which is funny cus we look like two tattooed death metalists, hehehe.Beautiful song.

  • Awesome.Thank you for posting this beautiful song! I appreciate it.

  • Who is the original singer of this song?

  • Stevie Nicks.

  • this is for you daddy!!!!!

  • RIP

  • what a moment . . . . . thanks for posting this. what a beautiful thing.

  • Don't pity the new generation. Many of us still listen to all sorts of music and more of us appreciate the roads that lead to where music is now:). What you should feel sorry for is what we will eventually do to this earth and each other. Understanding and respect seems to be lost.

  • i agree! :)

  • This shit should be on Guitar Hero.

  • Very Moving Still.... I know this wasn't made in the sixties, but I grew up then, with fantastic music. I too feel sorry for this generation.

  • thaaanks!! that's just awesome...no words...

I feel sad for my years too!XD

  • Try to find a song today that plays this way in lyrics and music itself. Good luck. I like this version best. Glad I grew up in the 80's. I feel bad for teenagers today.

  • don't feel bad for us. We enjoy this song too. :-)

  • Haunting and beautiful. I'm getting older, too. Thank you Stevie and Lindsey. And thanks for posting this song.

  • OK - who is tearing up listening to this?

    :-)

  • she has the voice of a GODDESS, AN ANGEL....

  • she has such a gorgeous voice!

  • Oh ok. guess the love wasnt strong enough to break the band apart.

  • Sweet.. Man its deep..Good Song:D

  • They're still going well for being the fact she's about to turn 60.. Well done stevie, my mother dislikes fleetwood mac, but you managed me woo me :P (My mother was into the acid rock, my father the beachboys.)

  • A classic.....and the love still between them both...bittersweet!

  • OMG This has the best lyrics.. makes me cry!

  • The Dance is incredible, I've been watching it since I was six.

  • thank god for this stormy relationship, Stevie and Lindsay...the music that came out of their relationship..Amazing isnt it??

  • I'm always amazed at Stevie... all I can say is "I love you!!!"...

  • I'm always amazed at Stevie... all I can say is "I love you!!!"...

  • She sings like an angel, a truely amazing voice

  • I'm going to dance with my dad to this song at my wedding.

This song is so amazing - it gives me chills

  • amazing I love this song

  • I think Stevie was the one true love that got away from Lindsay in the mid 70's and this loss bothered and haunted him for decades. Today, Lindsay is married with young kids and I believe now at peace with his past. Stevie never settled down with a true love, nor had children. She was the perfect woman unable to find the perfect mate. Now looking back, does she know that she found him at one time along the way? What could have been and what can never be again - it's all wrapped up in this song.

  • she can always come live with me!

  • "What could have been and what can never be again", is how this song speaks to my heart...it is very sad to me :(

    beautiful song

  • Yes, just see the other video in YouTube of the song Say Goodbye.. just look the glances.. what a couple..

  • always puts a tear in my eye

  • amazing

  • she has such a beautiful voice!

  • What? stops hurting- this song isnt just about hurting its about remmembering the beauty in life and the priceless times we have with those we love. This isnt just a sad song but a timeless masterpiece, Full of splendor.

  • This song makes me cry

  • Stevie is like the female version of Johnny Cash. He had alot of soul and feeling in his voice.

  • Plus the drugs.

  • Yeah, can't forget about the drugs.

  • Stevie as a unique voice. Wonderful song

  • Super génial,stevie je t'aime.

  • Does anybody have a video of "Sweet Girl" from this concert. All other songs from "the Dance" album are on youtube except "sweet Girl". Thanks

  • such a beautiful, poingnant song. x

  • just luvly. they should have married.

  • I agree

  • is that christy turlington (the model) at the start clapping?

  • That was beautiful. I love how she holds her face after he kisses her, as if she's trying to hold it there. Very sweet.

  • great song.

  • thanks! one of my all time stevie songs...for reasons you'd understand..

  • He still loves her very much. Damn, I wanted to choke up too.

  • Her father died a few years ago shortly before Katrina from the way it sounds. Type in "Stevie Nicks - Landslide (The Today Show)" and she talks about it.

  • What a nice song . When I hear this song, I think of the Christmas movie Jack Frost where his son places the hat and scarf on him ....

  • I love Stevie! and do some covers of her songs Landslide is one of my favorites!Suzanna

  • Best version by far. Thanks for postings! Thanks Stevie! Thanks Lindsey!

  • stevie is still THE rock goddess!! and this vid is awsome. lindsey and stevie at their best!!!

  • Who hurt who in that relationship? Lindsay was shattered for years. Good for him that he moved on.

  • Strange. Lindsey went off and married and had kids. Stevie refuses to let anyone near enough to hurt her again. Sad.
