  • would it lag on my mac if i have 256 ram ?

  • What if I install it on my current PC but then get a new one? Will I have to get new software, like Windows would make you do?

  • wait... you still need to plug it into the computer to use the software? So this is basically just a usb audio interface? whaaat?

What would be awesome would be if you could take the computer out of the equation, and basically had some sort of stomp box with a screen allowing you to customise your sounds. Would be amazing for live stuff.

  • @leakeg you can do that with digidesign's eleven, unfortunately it costs about 10x as much as GR mobile.. :(

  • @leakeg the box is more of a sound card and ur pc is the interface

  • @mrlepercon I know, usb audio interface = sound card

  • @leakeg *Achum* Pocket Pod

  • mobil? dont you mean mobile, there is an E on the end you stupid fucking american, learn to speak properly

  • So Guitar, effects, Computer. What does the bass sound like before distortion kicks in.

  • whacking noisia style bass through this really helps!

  • doesent work with guitar rig 4?

  • Can I use this interface for input audio and another usb interface to output the audio to my monitors?

  • What song does he play at 1:49? I reconize it but dont know the name..

  • the heavier distortion sounded terrible....

  • is there any difference between the software from the mobile one and the one with the pedal?

  • Does it have to be plugged into a computer to work, or is it all just in the Guitar rig mobile? Just pick up and go? And if so, how?

  • you need to plug it into a desktop or laptop. external powered moniters are optional

  • This seems better value than the POD studio. The software looks better

  • this only has 3 amps...POD Farm has waaaay more tonal possibilities and way more effects. It has 5 bass amps alone and over 10 guitar amps. Plus mic preamp models

  • does this little box thingy work like a preamp?

  • what would be the type of song at 2:05 ?

  • i was wondering if i should get this or the line 6 toneport gx..which one is better?

  • I ditched my Toneport for the Native Instruments Guitar Rig. The Native instruments Guitar rig is easier on my PC memory, plus the sounds rock way better then the tone port.

  • You could've bought the Guitar Rig software seperately.

  • Can I plug this into my current amp and record from my amp? or do you have to use it as an amp?

Also, can you save your recorded files as WAVs or MP3s?

  • question. can i only record guitar and bass on it? i wanna record drums too, like from my real drum set. possilbe?

    thx

  • You'd probably need to connect a mic for drums.

  • Sim?

Pardon, but this is an audio interface to connect your guitar to your PC, and then to the Guitar Rig program.

It's meant to act as an amplifier, which LOTS (I really mean thousands) of effects.

Not extremely mobile as it needs a PC, but regardless, I wouldn't call it complete crap.

  • I guess what advantage does this thing really give you over something like the Digitech RP series that has the same recording/USB functionality and or the Pocket POD's etc... Those are more mobile than guitar rig that requires a PC. Still sounds good... I could see how it can come in handy though.

  • So does this mean I can plug it into any computer? Does it work without a computer? I don't think I grasp what is so mobile about it other than that one box is small.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious. I would appreciate some help here.

  • nah it can only function with a computer+software

    lol

it needs power supply (the USB hook-up gets the power from the comptuer to power the rig mobile)

    any more questions just repsond

  • here's a question. ive heard of people that plug their amps to their computers from the headphone jack. I already have a line 6 pocket pod and i'm thinking of recording with this method but through my pocket pod. would my sound quality sound better with a pocket pod of a guitar rig mobile.

  • ive nvr heard about that

if you could show me a vid of it that wuold help

  • i would love to but i forgot what i typed in to find this video. once i remember i'll tell you

  • okay-dokay

  • actually i've mad up my mind on my own and i think i'll get the guitar rig mobile. i tried the method i was talking about before and there is a lot of feed back.

  • nice

    lol

if u are good at sining i would recommend getting the rig sessions cuz it has a slot for phantom power which most mics need to use to plug into the pc

    good luck with it!!!

  • Should I buy this product or the Rig Sessions???

I like the price of this but I like the Rig Sessions features.???

    And idk bout singing though

If I aint gonna sing than I would get Rig Mobile but If i do then i would get Sessions...

  • its what powered?

  • wat are you talking about?

  • Hey Gody!!!!!!!!!!!! very good man!!!!!
