THIS IS HOW YOU GET MORE BOTS:

Go to your battlefield folder in my computer/EA GAMES

then click on "mods", then "bf2", then open the "AI" folder, right click "AI default" and open it with notepad, scroll down till you see this:

rem aiSettings.setMaxNBots 32

Change the "32" to the number of bots you want in the game.

have you tried Tunngle? go download it from Tunngle homepage . With that you can make your own game net like locally , but while it is local , all internet people can join you in all games not only BF2 or AiX , all games ,add me in Tunngle > shooter>bf2 > ariabf2 .

AIX Mode has clear sky and not as normally in Bf2 fog...And there aren`t 2 UAV its the Helicopter who has mobile UAV on board...

yes, the AIX mod works on vista. I use vista; the mod is totaly cool, but you might experience some lags after awhile..

I rarely ever go higher than 80 or so bots, cause it starts to get laggy. I'm only on a laptop 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo P8400, so overclocking is a no go as far as heat is concerned XD

The only way to get larger maps without messing up the game is to download single player mods. This AIX mod is the best one. But no you can't get large maps in single or co-op without mods.
