The greatest threat to the existence of the human race isn’t a nuclear war, nor a natural or engineered virus, but simply people of faith. Those who are trying to live up to whatever prophecy they believe in are this world’s upmost threat, as their emphasis in life isn’t life itself, but whatever happens after that, if any.
