I have the 2TB version of this hard drive from 1,5 year ago and in the last months i experienced several problems with the USB conexion, and even on my new laptop i just cant acces to my data...im trying to buy a USB 3.0 to eSata adapter to transfer and save my files before i send this to the repair on the store i buyed...i have a guarranty untill 2015 so i have time...but can somebody tell me if i can somehow transfer the files, since the USB port is the only afected part?
Any idea why this drive goes dormant with a rapid flashing light. I have it go twice, after the first time I brought it in to a shop(and paid $50) and they found nothing wrong with it. How do I get it out of hiding
I cant get into seagate at all, so anyone with an answer please. I wish these drives were more reliable

It's normal, you can make it stop by installing the software and disabling the light through it. seagate(dot)com

Cute ah?
I bought one and last 43 days.
Seagate is the worst brand ever and they do not care about you losing your data.
DO NOT BUY THAT THING. You'll lost your data.
And DO NOT works with 64 bits.
