  • I remember that Technics SL-1200 has 1.5 kgf·cm torque, but the Stanton st-150 has 4.5. I have American Audio TTD-2400's and they has about 1 kgf-cm torque too. It's ok when you have good slipmats and slippery vinyl's, but sometimes my vinyls are so sticky that it makes scratching impossible... :( These are still good turntables, I use them for beatjuggling and scratching, still gonna buy those Stantons soon. :)

  • I got one more turntable that i am thinking about. A stanton str8-80 direct drive digital turntable. Would that be good? With a best cartridges that i can find?

  • @OriginalFakeHI I haven't heard of that one

  • @OriginalFakeHI thats the probably the best available turntable on the market, (since 1200's are not manufactured anymore)

  • Whats good a t55 or t62. so stock cartridges wouldnt work.

  • @OriginalFakeHI Well, as you can see I don't like the 62. I think the 55 has a belt drive so it's even worse for DJing purposes...

  • hehe i added snow!!!

  • So this you can play recods?

  • Hi,

If bought my this Tunrtable mostly for listening Musik and not that much scratching or what ever^^

Can someone give me a god video guit to adjust the weight of the needlethingy?

(excuse my bad englisch :C )

  • Hi, (sorry for my english) i wanna spend money on my 1st dj setup and i wish this turntable. this stanton t62 can work perfectly whit serato scracht live?, and can i put in serato vinyls?

    Thanks for your time.

  • @8Jome Yes it works with serato

  • @8Jome Every Turntable works with serato. This one is really good know. I dont even think about replace it to technics one. T62+ good system provides you to make even advance scratch.

  • @8Jome I'm selling my t62 i only used them like 3 times...still in really good shape

  • Why dont you add the waxpaper under the slipmat ?

  • close call ha i was about to go get it after work.. so audio dj4 will work?

  • @Burnt5o Hi, yes it works with any interface that has a phono preamp

Regarding your other question: For some strange reason I found the skipping problems to be even worse with timecodes, no matter if I used flat vinyls or not

  • @Frace91 yeah i ended up getting some numark tt1625 with another mixer for $100, i said why not pretty cheap deal. and got a numark interface soundcard. it was like $50 at guitar center. only thing now is idk were to get time code vinyls for virtual dj (what im using for now) without havin to purchase the whole $300 package with everything??!?!?! can i use other timecode vinyls such as serato or traktor??

  • @Frace91 i have the t62 strangely i dont have that much problem with it. and i use time coded vynil. but its true that i only have one turntable so i cant really compare to another one but me i dint skip beat.

  • @Burnt5o I have to add however that all of my timecode vinyls are a little bit warped so it might ust as well be me

  • is the skiping problem an issue if you plan to run them on soft ware? serato, virtual dj, mixvibes, audition???

  • @Burnt5o If you get Traktor,Serato or Torq they have a mode called Relative mode which no matter if the needle skips it does not effect the sound just like beeing skipless. I use Traktor Scratch Pro 2 and love it but buy what you like it all comes to preferences.

  • @972Trucker I have virtual dj pro6. so hopefully it has that mode aswell, if not then i guess its time to upgrade or move on lol.,. ive been using vdj for a while now, i never really bothered to switch but if i had to, which would u recommend

  • @Burnt5o Its all up to you, I got Traktor I love it buy there is also Serato which is good too seach for videos and decide which one is better for you. But you cant go wrong with neither of those 2 I dont know about Virtual DJ It probably has that mode too, most DVS sistems got it but I could be wrong but I do recomend Traktor but you decide which one you feel better using.

  • @972Trucker alright sweet, well im actually going to get a pair of t62's and i need a sound card so this guy is selling a dj audio 2 sound card with traktor, so might aswell try it out

  • @Burnt5o FYI bro the Audio 2 DJ does not support Timecode you need atleast the Audio 4 DJ or Audio 6 soundcard from Traktor to Support timecode. If you are going to use timecode dont buy the Audio 2 DJ it will not work dont waste your money on that one I use the Audio 4 DJ with timecode and works great I hope this helps.

  • Are the UDG Slip Mats your using are they good or are there better ones I can buy?

  • @TheJoshua357 I like them, I don't know if there are better ones out there

  • Hey man, was wondering what headshell you used for the M44-G? Just received my M44-G, assumed the headshell would be along with it but it isn't.

  • i wouldnt bother buying the t.62 or a technics i would just buy the stanton str8-150s because theyre alot cheaper than the technics and the torque is amazing

  • @RobMarini1 yes, or the reloop rp6000, I recently bought them from a friend and they're amazing

  • its not direct drive its belt drive just remove the platter and you will see

  • @P1001AT2 it's direct drive

  • have you seen the str8-150's? those are really turntables. $500 a peice. which is too much for me so im settling for these.

  • hey how are these for just mixing 60 - 80 min mixes? no scracthing just straight up blend and mix.

  • Im going to buy T62 with stanton diablo cartridge. Do you think it will sound better, or i still need to buy shure cartridge?

  • THIS .62 IS A PIECE OF CRAP!!!

  • Hey,

do you know what cartridge is best for this turntable?

  • @GuyMojo That really depends on what you want to do and like, there are spherical and elliptical ones. Do you want sound quality? Loudness? DO you want to scratch?

I use Shure m44-g Carts and I recommend those, they requirwe little weight saving your vinyls and are cheaper than ortofons

  • I LOVE KAROTTE

  • Im going to get these in a couple of months , First Turntables ima get. All i need to change is the slip mats rite?

  • @LokiSkillz As I said, the cartridge is even more important ;)

  • I just fucking bought this as a beginner to get into scratching and shit because i wanted to incorporate it into my beats but THE TORQUE IS HORRIBLE!!!!! I mean, I don't know how to scratch but just trying to do the basics on it is hard because it starts up soooooooooooooooooooo sloooooooooooooooow... I feel like shit... I'm gonna pawn this shit ASAP. Almost brand new too... DAMN!!!

  • @DjKieLBeats: Get some butter rugs or put wax paper under your slip mat. That should help a bit.

  • @djtekno If I were you I would never do that really. It would charge with static your vinyls and with the static the dust all around the air. This dust is what makes the "blup"s in sound.

  • thanks alot bro

  • so you really suggest me to buy technics ?

  • @geekid213 They're the wheels of steel man, If you can afford them and don't want to bet on str8s or anything like that you can go the safe way of buying technics.

  • ya good video really helped me out i had many questions but do u know any good website to buy used technics??

  • @geekid213 Thank you. I don't know, If I wanted to buy some I'd go to a DJ Forum or ebay.

  • Also, what weight would you recommend for the 500 v3 for casual listening?

  • I've heard that the 500 v3 is excellent. I'm not using this TT for DJing, because I'm not a DJ. I'm using it for casual listening, so I shouldn't have a problem with this TT, right?

  • @jameshodgetts1997 Yeah, most reviews I read and saw on that cartridge were gloryfying it, but I don't like it, especially compared to my Shures.

For casual listening these are not too much of a problem but they require a lot of weight which wears out your vinyls a lot quicker, You don't need as much weight for them as I used in the video becasue you won't scratch but probably still more than I used.

  • Is it good for just listening?

  • @ka1t5u666 I'd get a different cartridge for it

  • Ok, people, dont listen to this guy, the tourque on it is great, i got one, as long as u have decent slip mats, it scrathes Great!

Best Beginner Turntable, Oh and bro, it doesnt fucking matter how long it takes to start up?

  • ot.. track id???

  • @PossoChiamarmiMaikol Karotte - All she wants is, might be a remix

  • @Frace91 thanks!

  • @DjPauliee3 hey would this be good for my first turntable

  • hey, can u plug in your laptop to that?

  • @DjPauliee3 You will need an Interface wich has cinch connections and a phono preamp, If you want to plug a turntable in a computer directly you will need to look for usb versions.

  • Exaduration much

  • I have it.... Its suxs at scrathing it just stops..-.-!"

  • thx ;)

  • Thank you for taking the time for this review. really appreciated.

hey!!! I have been wanting to get a pair of these for a few years. I just want them for mixing. I might scratch like 3 times a year. But i wanted to know if these are a set i should get or would it be better and more economical to purchase a NUMARK DJ Battle package or some kind of gemini package?

  • Thanks a lot mate

  • thanks bro, great review

  • i wish it had the 78rpm ,reverse or anything but the basics

although because i like simple things as long as there well built

  • yay for native inst. . . . . boo t62 i got butter rugs and its shit, good for beginners but not for pro use. my rants are in my t62 review vid. sux.. good post tho man
