  • I must admit I loved the 'in your ear' animation, that was cool. Not so much a fan of the illustration, though I love the giant red eye part.

  • @JaytheOstrich Thanks, I think.

  • When you Cthulu rises, you will be eaten last! :(

  • @Orthagoni Hahaha! Spot on, man.

  • why the hate? I thought it was pretty good

  • @Alenthas Thanks!

  • Hmmm. The eye is very reminiscent of the cover of Obituary's album "Cause Of Death"

  • @Eviltot Yeah. I spotted that straight away. Own up, controllervision. We like sharing on the web, but not PRETENDING.

  • Wow, this was really lame.

  • What a creepy mind, but maybe that is what Cthulhoola hoop desires...

  • This video is awful. And don't try to tell me you were inspired by that over-rated hack Tim Burton or something.

  • me kago en esto y seguramente tmb Howard Phillips U.U

  • *replay replay replay* why da hell is dis so intresting @w@ heheheheh~ *replay replay replay*

  • How many hours?

  • If this was supposed to be Cthulhu it didn't follow the source material at all, in fact I don't know what you were drawing. But it was most certainly not great Cthulhu.

  • You remind me of Gordon Freeman for some reason. Maybe it's the goatee and glasses.

  • TYHIS IS FUCKING BULLSDIT

  • Cool work. The eyeball expaning was a particularly creepy touch

  • @Vicious516 Thanks yous!

  • Where, er... was... the animation? It's in another video?

  • I like it. It didn't waste time with bullshit and went straight at the subject...

    5 Stars!

  • @MdP2 Thank you!

  • what did that have to do with cthulhu?

  • I saw 1: a coloring book and 2: some cheap video editing (i.e. fish-eye transition)

  • Trippy! these fuckin haters have no taste!

  • @StreangestdreaM Thank you very much kind sir.

  • Great

  • @bissolis Thanks!

  • Ha Ha Ha! You get compliments from hippysandtrees! Good going buttplug!

  • you a lame

  • What is the song called? I absolutely love the music to completes the animation to a stupendous degree

  • @InvaderTak176 Hey thanks for the kind words. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the song doesn't have a title, it's just some music I wrote for the piece. I'm glad you liked it!

  • you should most certainly put it up here on yt. I love the music you have and I wouldn't mind hearing a longer version of this song.

  • what?

  • wonderful!

  • Do you have enemies? This isnt bad. Why are people harrasing you.? Nice detail and time spent. I hope the incects that insult your work get rejected at job interviews. Their work is prob a bunch of scribbles.

  • RE: hippysandtrees. Hey thanx for the kind words!

  • Too short to have an opinion about. But yeah there is a lot better Lovecraftian art out there.

  • I kinda agree with PsyckoSama there....a whole lot better artwork is out there...

  • That eye is from the cover of Cause of Death by Obituary right?

  • This sucks.

  • Re: PsychoSama's comment, not as much as your mother! Oh!!! (Done in Andrew Dice Clay voice)

  • What are you, 12?

This is a down right pathetic attempt. It's a zoom in on someone's ear with a still picture of Chthulu.

Innovative mind my ass. More like video masturbation.

  • Sucks what?

  • I don't mean to be rude, but what the fuck was that?

  • its not innovative if theyre not innovating something new.

Creative is a more apt word.

still, the lack of cthulhu in this video is disappointing.

  • (; ,;) bad cthulhu disaproves

  • Your head is full of fish , 5*

  • I think this video was a proof of that how talented that guy is, nothing else. so lay down peoples...

  • So where was the animation in this? Even the worst episode of Clutch Cargo had more frames.

  • I am impressed that anyone besides me remembers Clutch Cargo. :-)

  • @HerrSchenkel Ok let's see your animation of it retard

  • @666xenon666 Aw, you're adorable. And can you tell me why I have to have my own animation of this, little guy?

  • @HerrSchenkel At least he did an effort of creating an original animation. I don't presume you could do it better, so a little respect for the author would be appropriate.

  • @666xenon666 Noone deserves respect simply for trying to create something original. The word "Animation" in the title is dubious at best and is what raised my ire to begin with. All of the "animation" that I saw was a few sloppy tweens of stagnant images. Something I could easily replicate with a few of my own Lovecraftian based illustrations. Not that matters, since one does not have to equal or surpass what he is criticizing.

  • @HerrSchenkel Here's a hint Sherlock, stop bashing on video's you don't like. Youtube would be a much nicer place without people like you.

  • Comment removed

  • @666xenon666 Brilliantly articulated retort, Watson.

  • @666xenon666 My man!

  • @666xenon666 You have to be of that profession to realize how bad a person in that profession is? I'm not a musician so I obviously can't tell what bad music is. I'm not a writer so I can't tell what bad writing is. I'm not a bad politician so I obviously can't have an opinion.

  • I think that reanimator was better than the call of cthulhu

  • Haha nice vid dude

  • (;,;) Cthulhu disapproves of you.

  • I know about the old ones, but what is basically their background so I won't make any mistakes?

  • cool i like your drawings

  • i liked that man! keep up the fun stuff...do a shoggoth next!

  • I'm reading some of Lovecraft's tales and so far I've found them, although very well written, totally deprived of content and somewhat pointless. It's as if they have a beggining and a conclusion but nothing in between. What's the idea? I don't see what's the basis for this huge cult behind such dull shallow stories but at least I'm beggining to understand why they never made it past the pulp fiction magazines.

  • Yeah, he wasn't really good at piecing a story together, but his ideas are fascinating.

That's what really fuels people's adoration of him. You have to study his stories closer. They reveal psychological states of mind(paricularly Lovecraft's) behind all their 'pointless' and 'deprived content.

  • I believe I was too quick to pass a judgement. I just read "The Outsider" which I found (although a little predictable at a certain point) very interesting, and "Herbert West - Reanimator" has also captivated my interest even if the first few paragraphs of every chapter are a bit repetitive due to its serial difusion. I've also stopped reading S.T. Joshi's notes, although relevant they are also somewhat disturbing to one's reading flow and were keeping me from fully experiencing the tales.

  • i totaly agree with stopping reading the notes. lovecraft creates an atmosfere that should not be disturbed by another voice. his creations are amazing even if it's style does not reach ambrose bierce or algernon blackwood at their best

  • If anything you should pick up his dream cycle novellas, as well as finding a full-length version of 'the Colour Out of Space'.

  • if you havent already, check out rats in the walls, thats a damn good one, most of his stories can seem to be a bit jumpy if you will, but a lot arent.

  • Well, not much of an animation. I also think you should have given Cthulhu a silhouette in classic Lovecraftian fashion.

  • Yeah you're missing Cthulhu's arms and legs and claws there.

  • Intresting :D

  • well, from me you get the usual "you suck"

  • where's the animation?

  • The drawings sucks dude... this is shit

  • Wonderful, puts you right in it and, I hope, takes you back out. One of the best sound tracks ever. The drawings were good and splashy, and the in and out portals were a fine tribute to the sound (track) going in and the drawings coming out. A real contribution to the art of the mikrovid. And the pacing works too.

  • Thanks! It's so nice to get a good comment for a change instead of the usual "you suck."
