I still find it funny how they dubbed it so that instead of dieing, people were sent to a dark hell where their soul is feasted on by dark monsters and creatures. Yes... thats how you dub something, turn something natural into something that is more of a nightmare.

You missed the point, I wasn't going for any theme, i was simply pointing out that instead of dieing (as it's a 100% no no for 4kidz for anyone to die in there animations) they made it into a gruelsome concept that someone shall forever live to be feasted upon. I'm guessing you missed that.

But having people go to the Shadow Realm is more approriate and further solidifies that these ancient powers are REALLY SERIOUS BUSINESS and aren't to be tampered with... besides, it's not handled in a way that is so scary at all. It's only when you're older, you sit back and think about the exact consequences of getting sent to the Shadow Realm when you realize just how bad it is.

@draco5006isdead Death vs. accidental nightmare fuel, 4kidz obviously went with accidental nightmare fuel. Personally as a kid I agreed with that choice, I liked the idea that peoples souls would be tortured for all eternity. Of course my moral compass has never pointed as far north as other peoples, but the shadow realm provided me with amusement and entertainment so I was happy.

So nightmare fuel such as... cthulhu abominations is acceptable to be shown to children, yet death isn't? I believe I watched yamcha blow up when I was a child and that was more acceptable than my soul with be ravished upon by daemons and darkness. 4kidz should have took a leaf out of DBZ. however if I go any further I might sound like I'm quote some politic correctness, however death = normal day thing, i'd like to keep my soul thanks.

@draco5006isdead I said that as a kid the idea of the shadow realm appealed to me. Now I think that death is the less horrific option, but as a kid I liked the shadow realm more since it was unnatural and I found that intriguing.
