see my comment on teenager in love---you are definitely not being shown at your best when the sound quality is so poor--i am sure you can find someone to help you with this -its not about major engineering--just get the recording positions and levels set right--then we can look forward to hearing you!!
@tim60s321 I'm afraid that setup was the best we could do with high school sound equipment. However, the group has produced a CD which is available online from Crystal Ball Records. It contains 21 songs, which was professionally produced in studio setting. There, you can enjoy the girls with studio quality sound. Kevin.
The Four Quarters CD came out earlier this month. It is called "A Pocket Full of Change" and it is distributed by Crystal Ball Records. This number was on it. The studio version really is better.
Has anyone else noticed the presence of 2 Marshall amps onstage? Could these girls hang with blazing guitars? My thoughts are that they definitely could!
A good job on the solo! Her voice is really well suited for the song. There are so many issues with the sound quality of the recording that is really hard to fully enjoy it though. I suppose that is a hazard in shooting live performances. Is there any chance that the Four Quarters might considering redoing this one as a summer project in the future? I'd love to be able to really hear it.
I agree with 1948mikie (see below). I hate to say this, but I think Mr. McSheffrey needs to see his role changed to manager instead of pianist. With this fab quartet his role is to bring in advisers, backing musicians, stylists, people who can further educate these girls (develop them not only as singers but also on a personal level), add stage performance - and most importantly: that Mr McSheffrey makes sure that the girls are not ruined by greedy money makers!
I love this song. Hope I am not negative though when I say that pop music like this is not your strongest side. It's my impression that your voices are too sweet and innocent to do this kind of pop music. The doowop that you do, however, I must say is fab!
something that I would like to hear is the girls singing with a full back up behind them not just a piano - with the right music and arrangments to complment their voices they could go along way
Me again! Reminds me of listening to Petula Clark. It also reminds me of the time I played trumpet in the Texas Tech band and we did this number. As Bob would say, Thanks for the Memory.

@Jazzbeu55 The girls have a studio-recorded version of this song. We hope it's one of the ones that will end up on their CD in early 2011.
