As far as all the hate goes, I play both real Guitar and This. The GH games give emphasis on "Hero". No one is going to be as celebrated without putting in all the work of a real musician, but it's also very limited on what it will let you play. That's what real guitar is for: I don't believe for a second Orbison or E.L.O. will be in these games anytime soon, so the real thing is more fun in that sense. Video games are fun, as is real guitar, Belittling one for the other isn't fair for anybody.
