@mike00nike u should download "game booster" it will shut down any programs that are on and that will slow ur game... my friend uses it... and it shutted down 18 programs which he didn't even knew that we're on. it should help ur lags leave a bit :P

This made me think of the time, in the American Campaign I was tasked with penetrating an immense German fortification to get to their Command Center.

So I sent a Scout fly to check it out, but the Germans had a bitch load of AA guns, and it was promtly shot down... but doing so, it crashed right into their HQ.

Upon further inspection, the HQ was damage, and then suddenly, the idea struck me....

It is possible, as this game has hit detection boxes, when the shell from the mortar is launched, it is set to explode on any solid object's hitbox or the ground. Thus, when a plane moves over a mortar as the mortar was firing, the mortar couldve hit the plane as it was going up. SOLVING the mystery.

if you look carefully at 2:10 you can see and hear an AA gun so this plane was probably badly damaged and then by pure luck the morter landed at the same time the plane was shot down by AA therefore solving the mystery

@killamanjaronation And dear, I have to say that there was No any AA gun in that match^^ That's the very first version of COH. German only had Ostwind and 88 gun. But during the game both of us didn't build any Anti-air weapon. And also, US side's M3 won't shoot air things because there was no aircraft in German side in that early version.

You can shoot down a helicopter with an RPG. You can't shoot down one with a LAW. An RPG goes 560 mph a LAW only goes 375 and is much less acuate to begin with. Even the RPG can only take out a helcopter at close range. like a hunderd yards if its moving 300 if its hovering.
