Also the character's faces were changed in J.J and Jeff. The one kind of looked like Tom Cruise in shades, and the other kind of looked like a young Pat Sajak. As far as what they are saying or what the story is, they are partners in a private detective agency. One day they get a call for a job, but only one of them gets it. The other is jealous, so he tries to sabotage your progress.

This is great. I have heard about this game for years, but have never seen this version. I have the American release called J.J and Jeff. The western version is basically the same except for some questionable censorship. For instance, the peeing and farting were removed, but the birds still crap on you. Also, most of that level has public restroom-like buildings instead of just the one.

This is weird... If u watch the credits for the TV show "America's Funniest Videos" at the very end it says based off of "Fun With Kato-Chan & Ken-Chan" so idk if this is what AFV is based off or what.... :D

Charlie Brooker, who used to write for games magazines, now has his own show on BBC4 called Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe where he analyses television in a satrical way. Gameswipe was an episode where he looked at the history of computer games and briefly mentioned this "scatological" Japanese game with lots of turds and blowing off. So I did a search and found your video where I got to see this game for more than a few seconds.

Charlie did a couple of articles for the Guardian last year where he listed his personal top 20 games. One of them was this.

The others - in order of release - were; Asteroids, Pac-Man, 3D Deathchase, Stop the Express, Elite, Jet Set Willy, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Sentinel, (then came the game in this video), Tetris, Road Rash, Doom, UFO: Enemy Unknown, Tekken 2, Grand Theft Auto, The Orange Box, Burnout and Super Mario Galaxy.

yea instead of farting they had spray cans lol i luved this game was very hard to beat couldnt beat it when i was younger but managed to finally beat it 2 years a go lol  thing i hated the most was those green springs that would take you back to level you've already played lol

Lol, was it one of those games you vowed to complete someday? I've got a few on my list, I did Metroid 3 a few months ago, but still got stuff like Alex Kidd and WonderBoy III without using cheats on still.

But it's a great game, you can tell it's a Japanese game even after the altercations, The only tell-tale signs nowadays are the wacky hairstyles and lack of un-attractive characters.

Yea i didnt use any cheats either for those Alex kidd was a tough one got to the end but still havent beaten that one my uncle was the first to get it for the genesis and he use to come over and bring all his new sega games and systems I remember when da 1st sonic came out he was over the day it was released and we played it till da break of dawn the memories lol

Oh yeah, I picked up a copy on Import from the US a few days after it launched and I remember lugging it to my friends house and spending all day playing it on his 32 inch hand-me-down black and white TV.

Then making up lyrics to the songs as we'd played it so much, usually to the lyrics of Captain Planet ^_^
