I met Dime and Vinnie in 1994, in the bar at Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom after one of their gigs. All I have to say is that they were 2 of the coolest people in the music business I have ever sat and had a few beers with. It still shocks me to this day that Dime is no longer with us. That is why I went back to playing Metal covers with my band, paying tribute, not only to Dime, but to many other people who have passed on in Metal! Every time I play these songs, I play it for each of them.
I met Darrell about 10 years ago, and his Vinnie lives right around the corner from but I never met him. I live here in an area where Darrell frequented alot of bars. Anyone that went out was very likely to meet the man. He didn't let his fame go to his head. I think that's on of things that really stood out about him. Miss him alot.

I met Dime and Vinnie in 1994, in the bar at Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom after one of their gigs. All I have to say is that they were 2 of the coolest people in the music business I have ever sat and had a few beers with. It still shocks me to this day that Dime is no longer with us. That is why I went back to playing Metal covers with my band, paying tribute, not only to Dime, but to many other people who have passed on in Metal! Every time I play these songs, I play it for each of them.

I met Darrell about 10 years ago, and his Vinnie lives right around the corner from but I never met him. I live here in an area where Darrell frequented alot of bars. Anyone that went out was very likely to meet the man. He didn't let his fame go to his head. I think that's on of things that really stood out about him. Miss him alot.
