When i heard the news about the syfy version and its premise. I wanted to see how different it would be from twilight...i wanted to c originality - not something rehashed. Something different from twilight. Then i heard about there was a uk original series. That intrigued me so i started to watch the original 1st two series before syfy version aired. I loved it. @Impetuous00 It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. But the US version's characters are so bland with no chemistry with each other and the actors lack any sort of charisma and talent. The US version has a bigger budget so they were able to expand on the storyline but Being Human is about the characters and not some epic battle between vamps and stuff.

Yes, it was this trailer that got me watching and now I'm totally hooked, can't think of anything else! After I'd watched about three episodes of S3 I bought the first two series box set and I'm addicted. Now terrified there won't be a series 4 and wishing it was Sunday for episode 8, but hating the thought that this series is then finished.

Also this is about the required catalyst for the biggest plausible and possible squee. I think people dismiss it because the idea of K9 was sold, not what the BBC owned, that and it was on Disney XD and Channel 5 but it is truelly marvelous and is more Doctor Who than Torchwood or SJA whilst still being uniquely K9. I've rather fallen in love with the series myself and canon is in the eye of the observer to a certain extent so yes I include it and justly so.
