Lately at work we listen to Micheal Savage. He sounds thought provoking, possibly a bit more interesting than Rush. Our radio in my workplace only gets one station. If I work late we here some guy name Alan somethin--There just seems like alot of hate on talk radio--but like I said we only get one station.

Let's expand our foreign embassies into sovereign foreign cities. It solves so many of our immediate problems and leaves us, once again, pushing the envelope in ways designed to evolve a meaningful world peace. Rush uses Patriotism to fortify his position. Example he was referring to Obama blaming the problems of the economy on the Bush Admin. Then he goes off on his patriotism platform screaming Obama inherited the Greatest Country ,Americans are the greatest people, blah blah. Which everyone agrees with over and over and then he sneaks in that the American economy was the greatest economy in the world until Obama destroyed it. So you think he's right about the Country must be right about Obama too.

He also uses Hate as a tool. He tells you that Liberals hate this Liberals hate that. He creates a sense that they are irrational because they hate without reason.

He uses the old adage of attack the messenger. If someone says something that opposes his view he attacks them and calls them hacks says they are just jealous of him ect. His audience buys it so anything said by this individual is no longer believable.

So when he cropped Congressman Dingles audio and said he refuses to condemn Hezbollah. Then I play the actual audio where Congressman Dingle says I condemn Hezbollah. That is a sound bite that is up for interpretation. I guess you can plead ignorance all you want to but the truth is there.

From what I know of Rush and the 10 second sound bite you played, myself being a Christian would interpret Rush statement as meaning this:

Barack Obama who is half black and half white and it would be considered a true statement that he had very little experience to hold the office of the Presidency, as many argued; including myself.

Having nothing of true substance to offer in the role of a Presidency other than being a great Orator Rush attributes this description of Barack Obama as being nothing more that a mere MORTAL; without actually saying Barack Obama is a Mere Mortal!! This is the sentiment that Rush was really trying to convey!!
