@imunabletoprocess That's all you can be in the Medical career. Ambitions only adds a few Opportunities to it, but your Sim still works mostly at the hospital, which cannot be seen inside.

@lazydazy22 Ambitions in an expansion pack. When you install it, you are adding content to The Sims 3, so you play both games integrated and at the same time.

@TheLunaFace Yes, there's a laundromat you can enter. Apart from that, the only lots you can enter are the consignment store, the salon, the fire department, etc. The old lots are still rabbit holes.

HELP PLEASE!! I'm confused.. so ...it

says that in the sims 3 ambitions you can be a doctor. so when i was playing

i used the new paper and clicked "professions" they didn't have doctor

in there.. so i just went to the "jobs" menu instead. I became the

lowest position in the medical field "bed-pan cleaner" but i can't ...control

myself at... work?!?!?! how can i be this doctor they speak of and

control myself at work? it says in the manual that you can be a doctor with all the new careers....

@xoDressage Doctor is still a career, not a profession. You won't be able to control doctors at work but from a certain level on you will start getting new opportunities, such as "being asked to help Sims about to choke while having dinner at the bistro, giving out free vaccine or testing new drugs" (from Sims3Cri.com).

The Medical career is the only one that has been updated with Ambitions. However, there is an all-new career, Education, whose workplace is the school.

@malotommy Fewer people? Like less families? I don't know exactly which town has more, but you can still play the old families in Sunset Valley, or move them into Twinbrook (though they lose any relationships with their neighbors).

@maszlagma You can buy washing machines and dryers so whenever your sims change clothes, they leave a dirty pile of clothing around. In addition, Sims 3 Have also added a laundry basket so you can collect the days laundry and do it later. If you don't have a washing machine or a clothing wire, you can still go to the laundromat.
