@mikelovestacos 70's and early 80's were awesome times in wrestling, rules allowed for much more action and as always Russians were dominant. Are you just saying things that "sound" good? It was actually the best times for wrestling BTW, lol. I'm not saying Gene Mills can compete with D1 all americans either, but he was way better in his prime than a multiple time NCAA D1 champ. NCAA champs are a dime a dozen on the senior level.

@futurerichguy Failed to pass the ACT's. His dream was Olympic freestyle gold not college folk-style. He took money when he won international tournaments so he we not eligible to wrestle in college. I believe he is taking college classes but don't remember where.He needs the hunger to wrestler in London b/c his comeback attempt so far doesn't look good with taking so much time off. If he was in Russia, he would be very well paid to be wrestling. USA needs ability to pay its athletes full time.

We have many Oylmpic and World Champions: Filiberto Azcuy, Alejandro Puerto, Alexis Vila, Hector Milian, and Yoel Romero are just a few of them. Romero, just in case you did not know, has a plus score on his individual matches against American All Star Cael Sanderson. Yes, we do know how to do a lot of things, besides running.

@ms1454 Yes, true. Saitiev is a great fighter whom I give a lot of credit. His brother, Buvaisar, was even better--in my opinion, the best freestyle wrestler in history, closely followed by Arsen Fadzev and Sergei Beloglazov. But it is undeniable that for a third-world country, we have a remarkable wrestling school. Our fighters have achieved a great deal. That's undeniable.

He coatches around new york now you wouldent believe how much he has achived ncaa pin record holder pins his way through the tablise tournyment won the world super championchips in japan and was named the MOW in the world. i believe he was the best.

folkstyle is not in the olympics. There are too many different folk styles. I assume you mean scholastic/collegiate, though. Collegiate wrestling is strictly american.
