awsome i was just drifting like this evening on the Tokyo track in old muscle cars. Once i get a bloody DVD recorder or summat similar ill post the replays up. I find Jap cars too easy to drift. Old muscle cars are great fun to drift get a bit of dukes of hazzards or bullit going lol...and the Volvo estate but thats another sport all together...

Yup. PS2. I find the GT-R's Super HICAS all-wheel steering really helps to make some tight drifts around Tsukuba, personally. And yes, I too, use only a manual transmission.

It's FWD. You can drift anything with the right amount of effort and the proper execution. Though by definition, whether it's considered a drift or not is arguable at best.

My personal favorite is the white NSX-R concept I used in this video. Always gave me the best results on N1 tires with no driving aids on. ^_~

OK i use that all understeer idea and it feels as tho it flicks at the end of tha corner what am i doing wrong

Yeah, it's quite a nifty maneuver I picked up. You use the vehicle's snap-oversteer to counter the spin. To induce it, I usually just let off the accelerator and then turn the stick, and gun it full-throttle. This usually whips the car around, depending on how much weight transition I have going.

I have other hobbies that I think I'm pretty good at, much better in comparison to how I drift in videogames. But hey, people are going to try and break you down no matter what you do. am I right? I wouldn't worry about anything people like him say. Those of us that can admit our faults are a lot better off than those of us who feel the need to point every one else's out.

you can drift eaier if you turn off the traction control and puting the asm (understeer) in the max and the oversteer in the lowest...

Haha, thanks. I spend a lot more effort editing on some of my other videos (not found on youtube) but then again for those I use Premiere. The short little vids I put up on youtube are slapped together with a little flair in WMM2.

Well, I don't have the game anymore, so I can't help you on notes, but I used a normal DualShock2 controller with a custom button layout.

Drifting with the DS2 Controller is indeed not the easiet way to drift, But i drift with it and it suits me fine, you definitly got some skill, i'll give you that, and yes we're all still learning either way you look at it, you should hit up idforums.net, its a awesome GT4/Initial D website, give "Ghost racing" a try and see what your really made of.
