  • look up jeep cherokee reving, just as quick, i dont know why. oh and the decreased inertia makes it harder to get up hills

  • i know how it works and how to put in clutches i just never have driven one with lightweight flywheel

  • oh ok it revs faster but does it move faster

  • horsepower = revs and torque, so yes getting up to higher revs quicker helps a ton..

  • If you decrease rotational inertia, it takes less energy to get the engine moving therefore that difference equates to more usable power. The downside is you have to slips the clutch more because the engine also slows down faster too
