@jewtubejewtubejewtub You know that the intro and outro actually came from theoriginal Japanese soundtrack right? I guess you probably knew that all ready.
@David315842 Not even sure what you're trying to say here. No, I totally expected a western localization team to spend the money to create new music for opening and ending themes... My point was I like the song they picked for that ending over this one, musically. This song is fine, but I can't find the other one outside of the full episodes on animechannel, care to supply a link?
@jewtubejewtubejewtub The opening and ending themes used for the English dub, were from the Zeta Gundam OST. They chose two piecies one for the opening and one for the ending sequence. I can't recall the name of the track but the Zeta Gundam OST has been uploaded by Sanji1000, I think the track your looking for (that was used for these end credits) is on the second CD volume.
@jewtubejewtubejewtub My mistake, it's on the first CD of the Zeta Gundam soundtrack and it's the second part of the track called 'New World'. Starting at 1.09. Just in case here's part of that link just paste it into your browser after Youtube's address /watch?v=Vmku-nM_9N8
@ssonic15 That and my only other issue was the English voice overs courtesy of actors I had never heard of in other anime series other than the English rendition of G-gundam. Would have been nice to have used the cast from the original series in English here.
Making covers of Sedaka's music was a pretty cool move, but it was fucking STUPID.
Same thing goes for Human Touch. I'd be mad if I found if X never got localized because they didn't want to fight some dead white guy's estate over it.
@Mortskcab Fa is by far my favorite Gundam female character, strong, not emo, tough, tender, and all around see things to the end. Not to mention awesome in SRW, with the repair ability and so
@despairedboy I always liked Emma, and I liked Four. I personally thought that Fa could be a little bit too girly or prissy at times, which irritated me.
i dont believe this song was made in 1985 or 84? It is rather suitable for 90s animation song. I found Gandam Z was so stylish and had good sense. It seems to be fininaly found out by many people around the world it is one of the master peice of 80s. Sorry for poor English... its hard to tell what I feel in translation.
@madmax7272jj I absolutely loved it when I saw it the first time. :) I find it regrettable that it went straight to DVD in the States (it was never on TV).
@kevinlei92 Not true. But in the 80s Japan got three Gundam series, four movies and one OVA. And there were tons of innovations in other anime that wasn't Gundam.
i'm talking about the bad art work and shitty character developement that started in the late 90s and early 2ks. what the hell were you talking about? and i said EVAngelion. where was gundam in that broskies?
@kevinlei92 You said Eva was the last good anime (Which is subjective, looking at clips of Eva creep me out to say the least) I'm saying that it wasn't. Cowboy Bebop for example came out in '98, after Eva, it is noted by many to be one of the greatest anime. Then Shinchiro Watanabe did Samurai Champloo. Plus, there's Unicorn. I'm also saying that the 80s was a golden age because of Gundam pretty much taking off and becoming popular. Which had more to do with the other guy's comment.
@kevinlei92 I find it funny that you mention that. I'm not a fan, but that's probably the Japanese equivalent of saying My Little Pony is destroying American animation.
Good anime is still being made. You don't hear about it as much, but it's still being made. Like I said, Gundam Unicorn, excellent current series.

Acting like a little baby huh? Well then why the fuck am i goin to spend $40 bucks for? If i goin to expect the real cover songs then why not say it on the damn box. ew its not Bandai fault shut up!
I'm very pissed at you Bandai! I bought your Zeta complete collection; and this (plus the original intro song) wasn't on any disk! WHY? Same thing with Gundam Wing! Only G Gundam was true to the original!!! Why betray the fans who love Gundam, Bandai of America!?
They didn't have the rights to distribute the songs outside of Asia, so we got a background music compilation... thing... It's not their fault, but it's disappointing nonetheless.
Musical rights vary from country to country. In the case of Zeta Gundam, it was made by an American musician Neil Sedaka. He owns the rights to the composition, while the japanese own the lyrics. The reason that it is cost prohibitive is because it has a ton of people working on it.
I've got them, actually. But the only problem is that they're the original subbed TAPES (as in, VCR) that date back to the early-to-mid 90's when I bought them. They still play, but have tons of tracking problems (what else can you say about third generation copies,eh?). If I can come up with something to convert those files into MPEG, I'll definitely upload them.
