  • Whenever I see Tarzan swinging from tree to tree and sliding on the branches, I wince at the thought of splinters.

  • remind me at my childhood story

  • Comment removed

  • What happened to the Disney of old? Incredible music, superb animation; the films that shaped my childhood and the music that I've carried with me all these years. :)

  • so many times as a kid jumping from couch to couch then turnin back and look deep into comera eyes...*there was no camera*

  • he has a clean shave...hmmm

  • It actually took Tarzan ten years to fall down. Damn Tantor, you so strong! :D

  • It makes me wonder.....if Tarzan lives in the wild and knows nothing to human ways, how come always be shaved?

  • @Blahblahbox1 Ghost Nappa

  • @pizzamanchris14 What's that?

  • @Blahblahbox1 He's Nappa from Dragon ball Z adbridge ghost.

  • @TheDerekneseEmporer Okay I know what dragon ball is, but have never watched it, so still don't really know what you mean....

  • @pizzamanchris14 I thought he only hounted Vageta (from adbridge)?

  • Why are we all saying 'I remember' you guys dont watch Disney every week?

  • @goldguy112 I love you... I watch Disney all the time too... I love how it's not hard now a days to find people who love disney

  • Did it take everyone else several years to realize turk was a girl? lol XD

  • is it just me that i remembers EVERY SINGLE SCENE even though it has been YEARS since i last watch it

  • they just don't make movies like this anymore...disney and dreamworks.

  • @Z7TomC7Z I use to love Dreamworks. Chicken Run, El Dorado and....The Prince of Egypt (fav movie hands down)

  • I remember having a huge cartoon crush on Tarzan when I was like 8. Good times.

  • I just read the original Tarzan and I loved it. But there were some things that made me sad. Like it's Kerchek that kills Tarzans father and he tries to kill Tarzan but Kala saves him. And it's also Kercheks faults her baby dies. And hen Tarzan kills Kerchek :/ And Kala dies :( Oh and Clayton isn't a bad guy he is in love with Jane and is Tarzans cousin. But the book itself was an incredible read and I highly recommend it :)

  • The Disney Channel isn't Disney Movies. Some people say Disney has lost it's magic, but I happen to think Tangled was a return to form for them, I thoroughly enjoyed it. And don't forget they never stopped making excellent films with Pixar: Up, Toy Story, Wall-E etc etc. Disney hasn't died, it's just evolved.

  • @Browncoatt22

Also, Princess and the Frog and the new Winnie the Pooh movie were both great.

  • Movies like these pretty much made my childhood what it was. I'm scared to think what it would've been like without them. Disney has always been there for me...and always will. The films made me who I am. I think sometimes they get taken for granted. Thumbs this up if you had a great childhood with these movies to help you out along the way. :)

  • 2:19-2:37 Still the best slide ever! just epic!

  • i like the classic movies ;( rather than the new ones

  • I'll be the best ape ever!!!

  • Does anyone else want to learn the bass line to this song or is it just me? Soooooo groovy!!!!

  • Tarzan is more badass then Mowgli was!

  • Phil Collins is the king

  • Thumbs up if you're a guy moved by this song because you grew up w/o a father.

  • Man, if only Tarzan had a very long history full of great source material, as well as a long classic lineage of making fantastic movies. Oh wait, HE DOES. But still, it's not like modern movie magic can fully capture Tarzan and the jungle. Oh wait, IT CAN. But still, it's not like we can hire actors to act and speak like apes with a specialized suit that makes them look like a monkey on screen. Oh wait, WE CAN. Movie directors, stop throwing crap at us. Tarzan has as much potential as Batman.

  • @JFCamden Wait, is this a shot at this version of the film or just a generalized statement?

  • @flame6753 You kidding? This is my favorite film. This is easily one of the best Tarzan movies ever. The only thing is that it was only the tip of the iceberg. Disney obviously had to water down the content a bit for children but did a completely fantastic job doing it. I want a modernized live action Tarzan movie that get a little darker and turn into a franchise that can truly express his character. I hear a new movie series is being planned and I just hope it can live up to this one.

  • @JFCamden K gotcha. I agree 100%, just wasn't completely sure if I interpreted it right.

  • @JFCamden

I agree with you absolutely. When will moviemakers stop producing useless crap like Jack and Jill, Shark Night, Mars Needs Moms...all those ridiculous movies that came out this year are great examples. If they need help coming up with ideas, I know of plenty good books and stories that would make wonderful movies, if done well. I'd love to see a new Tarzan movie, and I bet a whole lot of other people would too.

  • @SophieBonesSVU It could be fantastic if treated the correct way.

  • @JFCamden And that wasn't a shot at Batman. I'm like Batman's #1 fan, I'm just stating the fact that a Tarzan movie could be just as cool.

  • @JFCamden i would say if they show tarzan's emotions it would have even more potential than batman, but what actor can do as awesome stunts through trees as disney's tarzan(all live tarzan movies have failed in this).

  • @jamariooo You are correct, however they have not made a theatrically released Tarzan film that was live action in over a decade. Since then, we have developed many things that could capture him. For example, the motion tracking used in Rise of the Planet of the Apes could easily be transferred into Tarzan. Also, Tarzan's stunts could be captures. Think about Spiderman web-slinging through the city. If they can have Spidey do that through New York City, they could easily make Tarzan vine swing.

  • @Acouplevideosisall Every song from him has been fantastic my favorite song by him so far has been "Invisible Touch" but this definitely had some of his best work.

  • i still think Kojack was an EPIC character

  • 1:54 wasn't a smirk, it was the first trollface

  • In my opinion, most epic of all the songs from the movie - really captures the theme of the story and actually makes you feel like you are accompanying Tarzan on his journey of growing up.

  • how many of you here are 20-30 yrs of age??

i'd really like to know, so give a thumbs-up will u? XD

  • @HFTL666 sooo true! i remember i even bought a tape for the soundtrack, i think i pretty much knew every single word of every song back then XD

  • 119 ppl r not awesome like Tarzan

  • i love the transformation at 1:34

  • 2:09 - 2:12 Kojak look so Elite when they show him walking like that. Then he got two others beside him, who would try and fuck with them, nobody!!!

  • Want a step by step to be a good person? follow this song and Ill make a man out of you and u got it!

  • @EricaKathryn because Tarzan is a kid movie and i doubt kids want Tarzan with some pedophile beard.

  • "In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn." There is no truer statement. You learn and eventually you will teach what you learn to others. In that teaching you will learn even more not only about the subject of what you teach but also about many other things

  • ive always wondered... how does Tarzan always get his dreads to stay in its current condition?? :0 Tarzan amazes me

  • @DepartedArrival it's actually pretty groos, if people don't take care of their hair, sooner or later it knots and twirls and become dread locks. nasty :P

  • Damn, where does Kerchack work out?

  • Montage time, mofos!

  • when i go back and listen to disney songs like this i get sad and happy at the same time, and im certain im not the only one.

  • @Jay13lazeIsReal430 i feel you on that

  • 2:09 Like a boss

  • MY FAVORITE.

  • Audio seems different, higher pitched?

  • Eight year old kid comes up with the intelligence to make a spearhead out of stone. took human race thousands of years. must have been some smart kid.

  • @Alokue

thousands years of making weapons become instinct to humans

  • @ppp9922 no, that's actually not how evolution works. at all. Do you know how to make a spearhead out of rock? I thought not.

  • @Alokue

give me a few days i could make one just as good as his.

  • @ppp9922 Eh...then it's because you've seen, heard, or read the technique. you don't intrinsically know how to make a spearhead. that's learned behavior. This is an eight year old kid who's never seen humans in living memory.

  • @Alokue Well, he learned how to swing from Chimps and swim from Crocs, is it so much of a stretch for him to OBSERVE stabbing from a Rhino?

  • @docturlough oh no. not at all. It's kinda a stretch for him to know what kind of rock to make the spearhead out of, what kind of rock to make it with, and have the sophistication to develop the technique for making it all by himself.

  • No beard. Iron hands and feet. Man I love disney!

  • he must get alot of splinters

  • 1:54, that smirk always gets me XD

  • 0:42 HAHAHAHA MONKEY BEAT AN ELEPHANT!!!!
