@gnot7 Go download Visual Boy Advance. You can't open it because you don't have the proper program. GBA stands for GameBoy Advance, VBA allows you to play GBA files on your computer.

@gnot7 Are you trying to open the .sav file, or are you trying to open the actual .gba? Try DLing VBA again to make sure you have the most recent version, your ROM could be corrupted too. If that's the case and the DL link is broken, you're shit outta luck. Try finding a different ROM and playing that, if it doesn't work then the problem is with VBA, not the ROM.

@TheArchangles982 There is a fix for this with the VBA on it's own. I have it on mine, it loads as if there is a battery and just reads your computer's clock.

Do I need an emulator to play it? I downloaded it, unzipped it, and when I tried to open it, it wouldn's open. It was giving me the option to search for a program to play it with. How do I get this hack up and running?

i have currently just beat the elite 4 and have went to catch Rayquaza in the sky pillar and have got past all the holes in the floor using the macro bike and have went up to Rayquaza and pressed Z and nothing happens it just continuously makes the noise when Z is pressed and doesnt go in to a battle using this ruby emulator CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!! There's only one freaking legendary you can get... and that's whatever Latios was programmed to be. Rayquaza was not programmed into the game and you can't get whatever the Regis were going to be because of the lack of Wailord and Relicanth. Any ideas?

@anotherexplosion you can find a wailmer with a rod. plus if you have a normal ruby ROM you can trade pokemons with visual link. works great, and the regis are replaced by other legendaries =)
