After everything, after all that crap, and her life hitting rock-bottom, i think the playground both contrasts her loss of innocence and the fact that she wants to go back to what things used to be like.

and she's screaming to just let it all out.

i think this is symbolic of her loss of innocence, A merry go round is something you play on as a chold and technically is still a child however she screams on it like the joys of childhood aint giving her that much satisfaction so she's gonna rebel
