the first paper is a template.easy to master if you have the knowledge.then this is layed across your vinyl then cut out.perfect fit.

this cannot be the way you lay down vinyl? or is it? what was the first paper or carbourd that was on topup the vinyl that you used for the room shape?

This may not be the official way. No doubt there is a quicker way, but for me this worked well. I made the paper template and then just cut it out. It involved driving down the road with about 6 feet of vinyl hanging out the back end of my car to and from my high school. I needed the big floor to get it out flat. And it fit!
