I used to love this slapstick humour back when I was 12. Power Rangers was so shit it was good, in a B-movie kinda way.

It's not the low-budget local Californian atmosphere that gets to me so much as the campy, naive, undeservedly optimistic and sycophantical humbug this unbelievably two-dimensional show constantly spews towards its viewers as though assaulting them with idealistic prevarications that are blatantly insulting. That's why Bulk and Skull are such great characters, because they by no means belong in this sappy, fairy tale world of the Power Rangers, and we desperately need them to cope with it all.

In reality it would just be Skull yelling food fight and no one else joining in, believe me I tried screaming "Food fight!" all the time when I was a kid. It would always end up me getting in trouble for screaming at the top of my lungs.
