  • My hands hurt to see that.

  • That's why Beesuit is my fav toss. Had no idea who he was playing until I saw god himself at the end.

  • @KaminasSunglasses GOD YOUNG HO (lee young ho- flash's name)

  • wow, reactions

  • I can't even begin to understand how fast this goes. Its....superhuman is not the word. Don't even know how to describe. All those actions just in this battle. But on top of that he's rebuilding units, probes and new structures. I just....so wild, just wild.

    LOVE YOU DONG!

  • Was Flash eating a sandwich at the end

  • i said, "damn that terran guy is bad! definitely not flash! hell, he doesn't even have siege mode!!" and then all of a sudden, the last second of the video it shows flash! "WTF!!??! really?! how!?"

  • good micro? I've seen good micro... this is insane

  • is Bisu better than MC in Broodwar?

  • @ppshchik I am an MC fan, but Bisu would eat MC whole and shit him out without losing a single probe. True story

  • @ppshchik all the sc2 pros were virtually nothing in bw. The only obviously exceptions are boxer, nada, july, etc

  • @lilkev098 Well, Nestea, MC and MVP are way better than the 3 you mentioned.

  • @ppshchik yes because sc2 only requires 1/2 of the apm bw requires, plus the game is still very new and strategies are constantly changing. But not even factoring that, the 3 people I listed are wayyyy past their prime, might as well have been comparing MJ to current players on the nba. They had no chance to realistically dominate the sc scene once again.

  • @ppshchik lol, ye but they were not close to the top in Brood War. And Boxer, Nada July are clearly EX masters of Brood War and now only fooling around in SC2 before the real pro enter the scen.

  • @ppshchik MC plays SC2 because he couldn't hold a candle to the top guys in BW.

All the BW guys playing SC2 are either guys that weren't good, or BW stars from a long time ago. None of the top BW players have moved over.

  • @superman32101 Maybe i am wrong but is boxer not good in BW and plays sc2 now? :D

  • @fgsz291 he was good in his era, comparing to flash hes multitasking and macro is weak imo.

  • @fgsz291 Boxer was very good, but in South Korea you must serve 22 months in the military. It is mandatory. Boxer had to leave and fell behind many of the other, more practiced BW players.

Boxer's weakness has always been his macro/multitasking, but he was a very popular BW player because his micro and cheese/creative strategies made his games very entertaining and won him many championships.

  • @superman32101 Ah ok, good to know, thanks :D

  • that shit is actually so sick it's giving me chills

  • I micro like you wanna micro, I macro like you wanna macro. I am fast, high apm, and most importantly, I'm gosu in all the ways that you are not. -Bisu

  • @ConnorVeach2 he's so tiny.

  • PLAAAGUUUUUU PLAAAYYYYGUUUUUU PLAYGUUUUUUUU

  • Flash: i'll still win Like a Boss

  • Can someone explaing what is going on here?

  • @Omgonthe123 spider mines are really strong moving land mines once you get close enough to them they get up and charge at you. But what Bisu does here, is that he targets nearly all of them down before any of them get chance to blow up his Dragoons (those 4 legged guys) and ends up holding the fight and eventually driving the terran player (Flash) back with really small force remaining which shows that if he made single mistake during his micro, he would've lost that fight

  • @Deltamon Good explanation, it requires almost no prior Starcraft knowledge to understand. Well put, sir.

  • Amazing.

  • i've been following pro Brood war since 2004 ( ok, not since the beginning, but still more than half its life~) and i still jizz every time i see this video. godamn.

  • @alf11588 We care. JK, we don't.

  • Observer was the unsung hero here.

  • @xxwanderingmonk Thumb up for proper usage of the word "unsung".

    You're the man.

  • I love how flash is like "i dunt give a fuk" at the end. chewing his gum or w/e xD

    Like a Boss.

  • at 0:18, Bisu needlessly overkilled a mine... I bet he couldn't sleep with clear conscience for a whole week after that O.o

also, THIS is pure art and magic

those who cannot acknowledge that fact are the true jerks without life, not the hardcore gamers they berate to inflate their egos

  • Sc2 is too fast for this to happen often. Both Bisu and Flash's army would have died within 10-20 seconds into the battle if in Sc2.

You will never really see this kind of 1+ minute of full on fighting in Sc2. They both would have lost their armies and remaxed instead=more army headbutting. Rather than unit micro, sc2 rewards positioning far more.

  • Is this even physically possible..?

  • WOOOOOW

  • I bet his APM was like 600

  • Bisu come to sc2 plz ♥

  • @ClanDW @FranksAJATT2 For example, the reason you hardly saw infested terran in sc1 even though it is the equivalent of banelings in sc2 is that it was SOOO hard to make each one cost effective for two reasons: one, it did not autotarget like banelings do so you can't simply run it into enemy army. two, when it explodes, the splash damage not only takes out the enemy but takes out all surrounding friendly units as well, taking out groups of your own infested terran like a chain reaction

  • @ClanDW @franksAJATT2 I'm going to have to agree with ClanDW on this one. What you said is definitely true. I was a C level player in the iCcup in brood war but I now find myself in the Diamonds league in sc2. There are far less things to worry about in sc2 as compared to sc1

  • AGAINST NON-OTHER THAN FLASH O_O Bisu <3

  • Back in the old days when Micro was so effing hard

  • this game looks easy compared to starcraft2

  • @instantdry1

You are an idiot. enough said.

  • @instantdry1

everything in this game is much harder than in starcraft 2

for example there is no auto surround and you have to make a conscious effort to move your units in proper formation around the map

  • @secdeal Starcrafts difficulty does not come from how hard it is to play, but the players that you play against, also there were some ai improvements in sc2 that were needed, what i am really trying to say, hard to play does not mean better, there are some easy games that are insanely fun, and some hard games that are insanely boring. tbh i could make a game myself damn near impossible to finish, wouldn`t mean its any good

  • @messi996

you misunderstood the whole point of my comment

i wrote it beause some weren't able to appreciate enough this video

did I write anywhere that harder is better? starcraft is just simply much harder to play properly, and no, it doesnt matter against whom you play

but in the end starcraft 1 was a better game than starcraft 2 is, more dynamic, more interesting gameplay, more dangerous situations, more subtleties and tricks, more micro possibilities.

Also top sc2 koreans came from BW

  • @secdeal im not going to argue which is better, mainly because all sc2 tricks havent been found yet as its only been here for a few years while bw was out for 10 years and people fully understood it . But also ofc all the top players came from BW, come on where else would they have come from? Dota,Wc3 , Cod4? No ofc not (well ya some from wc3:P) sc1 and sc2 are fairly similar odds are the skills you had in one can be transferred to the other, so ofc the top BW players would make it in sc2

  • @messi996 The problem is that if you make an easy game like sc2, it doesn't matter how bad is your opponent, is going to be more near to you, than in sc1 (exaggerating ofc).

  • @wjavier316 so the player is still worse then you and you should still win, winning is what matters not how close it is, if mvp was only just about able to beat bronze players but still riped up gsl like he has, would anyone give a shit about games vs bronze leaguers?

  • @messi996 lol, no. For example, if you differ of other because you can make send all your workers to mine very fast, if your worker automine after being creater of ther base, you are not different of others in this case. Those small things differs good players than the rest.

  • @wjavier316 ya and in starcraft 2 you can position units better micro them better, get more expos, have more worker faster if you can defend early attacks, multi task with drops and attacks on multi bases etc, there skill loads of room for great players to destroy lesser players, in sc2 the best player always wins. Like in sc1, if they loose its because they werent as good as there the person they played that game(no matter what tactics were used)

  • @messi996 Easier micro doesn't mean better micro. Easier expos, makes those who wasn't able to macro properly can have the same amount of units than those who learned how to macro. Those are not skills, those are just easy caracteristics of the new game. I know that a really good players is going to beat a really bad player, but the cases when the opposite happen is more common in sc2 than in sc1. Maybe is because of the 12 years of evolution of the sc1.

  • @wjavier316 i never said easier i just said that you can still out macro and out micro people in sc2 and you can still tear them apart, just now its easier for new players to get into, top players will still play at an insane skill level and at insane speed and destroy people worse then them, just now shit players can feel good at times as well, nothing wrong with that, does a higher learning curve on a game mean its better? if so we all should be playing eve online

  • @instantdry1 lmao you couldnt be more wrong. knowing how to play starcraft 1 at even entry level = masters in sc2

  • @ClanDW

yeah...that's so not true. no one would argue that sc1 requires more skill then sc2 but you're definitely exaggerating.

  • @FranksAJATT2 Not at all. most players i know that played in the iCcup server in sc1 who were D level are now masters in SC2, and i myself was terrible at sc1 and am currently masters in sc2. the thing is that sc1 taught management of hotkeys, workers, and control groups that are not necessary in sc2, leaving you with an advantage over those who only know how to manage sc2 mechanics. (multiple structures in one hotkey, limitless control groups, auto mining, auto surround, target prefer, etc..)

  • @instantdry1 Lol, you have to be kidding xD or maybe you didn't play BW.("looks".)

  • This Goons are spartans !

  • bisu's adrenaline must've REALLY kicked in, he was able to slow down time in his world and articulately pinpoint and destroy every single spider mine dropped by another crazy player by the name of Flash. THAT WAS MINDBLOWING!

  • This is incredible.

Dragoons are weak against mines for three major reasons: They are quite slow. This is a huge disadvantage against the fast vultures that create mines. Also, they have a good attack speed, but if they stop attacking, there is a full seconds' worth of time that it takes to atttack again. Also, its a explosive damgae type, doing only half damage to small units like mines, requiring up to two hits for each mine. This is simply unhuman control skillz....

  • its like the 6th time i watch this and it never ceases to amaze me!

  • holy.... those mines got raped.

  • STARCRAFT 2 progamer !!

    RoachMiracle FACEBOOK !!

  • @RoachMiracle don't bring your sc2 garbage in here. That's a terrible game compared to this master piece.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why are there people talking smack about this vid? In case you are blind, bisu uses exactly 2 goons for each mine. Get jealous.

  • i was about to say thats ez. i can do that and any B1. then i saw 0:58 lol

  • i found it, forget it

  • PLZ TELL ME WHAT GAME THIS IS I HAVE TO WATCH IT !!!!! The worst part is i thought the terran who laid the mines was rly good....IT WAS FLASH...NO SHIT!!!!!

  • InTENse!

  • so impressive..

  • DONT YOU FORGET THAT HE IS MACROING MEANWHILE AS WELL!!!!!

  • @CodeNashor He wasn't, he had 1.3k floating during the micro. Bisu was merely showing off

  • @ppshchik Not sure if I'd call it showing off. He was microing for his life, one mistake and it was GG easily.

  • I remember this game, such a sick micro!

  • What. Da. Fuck.

  • so gosu

  • that has to be the most impressive display of micro i've ever seen in starcraft.

  • At 0:50 the crowd: "oooooh.... woooh... WOOOOOH...." Commentators:" Dorgh... oorgh.."

  • Bah... would have been more impressed if he didnt have an Observer...

  • @brianr09 Dude, he was playing Flash...

  • if bisu ever plays sc2... everyone gg

  • Comment removed

  • @OmnipotentO Unless Flash plays. :P Flash>>>Bisu.

  • Scout: Executor, they have Siege tanks, a swarm of vultures each equipped with three spider mines, and they're all charging at our base. We only have Dragoons

    Bisu: let us dance!!!!

  • how game is this?

  • @CCKeNeN

Starcraft 1, Brood war. A new one is out

  • @HaliFins i know that it is starcraft brood war, i have played it many many times, but when was this played. I found it out thogh it was in WCG Korea 2009

  • lol @ RealPrezes. there is always one dumb piece of shit on every video of greatness who comments on how easily the feat could be done.

  • @dh144498 oh rly good argue "dumb piece of shit". Answer of same mind lvl "L2p"

  • This is micro, not FF! This makes FF look like a joke.

  • I wanna know his apm during those battles... amazing

  • God, BW PvT was nerve racking

  • i have this verry strange feeling bisus opponent would have won that push if he spent less time planting mines and more time attacking with those wonderful voltures.

  • @gameguy301 mines do splash dmg to goons, so 2 mines can take out multiple goons close together. vultures have 80 hp and only do cut dmg to goons. what im saying is that if flash didnt mine at all and just attacked, his army woulda been raped by those goons. if u had any experience with SC1 then u wouldnt have posted such a ridiculously ignorant comment.

  • @gameguy301 you cant be serious..... lol.......

  • easy to micro in lan latency,

  • wow wtf... that was some crazy shit... that is so fast. taking out each specific mine...

  • Now lets switch this terran with Boxer and see what happens

  • @MrSqueakyBootz flash is much better than boxer.

  • @MrSqueakyBootz boxer wouldnt have enough micro to spread mines like that

  • @MrSqueakyBootz this terran?! dude it's flash

  • @MrSqueakyBootz flash is like the best terran player in the world man, what the hell do you think you're talking about?

  • I watched this live on UStream, what a fucking mindfuck that was holy shit

  • BISU Y U SO GOOD?

  • someone please explain to me what just happened. How did those mines not destroy him?

  • @jakehr3 There is a small delay before the mines explode, so if you're really fast you can "disarm" them before exploding by attacking them.

  • 0:45 - 0:48 SICK

  • Comment removed

  • No problems with that. I know, this game is religion for guys like 4Im4pN, and he will kill my whole family if i say bad word about sc.

This spidermines micro is easy as hell. If you dont believe then you just sucks.

MBC Survivor 16th Light vs Tempest 2009-01-03 @ Byzantium - There is a real micro, not shit like this.

  • Meh i can do that if i had another 6 mouses and hand

  • this is why bisu is my fave player

  • I bet any WC3 fairy would watch this and wouldn't even understand what just happened ; D

  • @4lm4pN

Its a micro? Just right click on mines, all newbies can do that easily. I have played maybe 50 games in starcraft(except campaign), and i can do that like np

  • @RealPrezes obvious troll is obvious

  • @RealPrezes if you're comparing yourself to an established korean progamer after having played 50 games of starcraft then obviously you're a retard that is essentially using other peoples oxygen up, you should be violently killed and your family should be billed for the air you used up during your pointless existance you sorry ass douchebag.

  • @4lm4pN lol nice burn

  • @4lm4pN thats a little harsh don't you think? i think you should get checked for anger issues

  • @4lm4pN probably one of the greatest troll comments ive read on youtube. :]

  • @xSkateOrPlayGuitarx While I agree with 4lm to some extent, far from. 4lm was the one getting trolled, and now he's just feeding the troll.

  • @TausMunk nah i meant he out trolled the troll XDDD

  • @RealPrezes lets try this: you get 9 dragoons + 2 zealots, and ill be having 8 vultures + 3 tank + 2scvs, and we'll see how "easy" it is dogde/kill all those mines

  • @4lm4pN in WC3 you need micro more that you need in SC. in SC it is more about macro

  • @FlaSH4LeB I hate it when people talk like that. Some of the most utterly insane strategies in Starcraft took just as taxing unit control as in any game. Think about it this way, in WC3 you had to control your units perfectly in single battles, perhaps a few minor skirmishes at once, but your hero's life was paramount. In Starcraft you had to be producing units, watching a half dozen battles, and making sure that the majority of your units were being controlled optimally. Multitask = Micro.

  • @shoutenry Multitask and micro its completly 2 other things.

@4Im4pN And who is NaDa and Boxer on the SC2 scene? SC:BW and SC2 its same game? I dont mean mechanic, AI or other staff(like automining), but you do the same things. WC3 and SC2 its a completly other game with completly others main priority.

  • @RealPrezes Multitask is the ability to manually control multiple things at once.... micro is short for micromanagement, which means manual manipulation. Since when were we talking about SC2? Also, I'm thoroughly confused as to what you are saying.... your syntax is egregious.

  • @shoutenry "and who is Grubby on the SC scene ? Nobody. Thx" 4Im4pN started talking about SC2.

  • @shoutenry multitask is impossible.. Humans have linear capacities consciously..

  • @soondooboo1 Which is undeniably wrong... how then, do you find the answer to, who is your father? Does your mind work in a such a simplistic way as to call it a "[conscious] linear capacity"? Human neuroscience is more complex than Query -> Person -> Family -> Eldest -> Male -> Father, your mind slaps together hundreds of thousands of synaptic gaps per second and you have the unmitigated gall to call multitask impossible? Multitask is but tasking so quickly that it's indistinguishable.

  • @soondooboo1 Also, soondooboo is delicious.

  • @soondooboo1 you're retarded

  • @soondooboo1 you have fail capacities apparently

  • @nssigh dude you have obviously no clue about our brain and psychology. On a nonconscious level our brains are using parallel processing but when we are conscious we are linear. We think that we can multitask but in reality we are switching between things very quickly and diverting are linear attention one at a time.

  • @soondooboo1

Your point is right but only strictly correct

Its true if I were to micro 2 groups of muta's i'd divert my attention across both groups consistently

But in modern english that'd generally be called multitasking

Because I am engaging on tasks similarly at the same time

In the end we are doing multiple tasks within a time frame

  • @sukarestu That's true. But most people don't understand this and do in fact believe in multitasking in the true sense of the word which is shameful. Glad you understand though.

  • @RealPrezes wat

  • @FlaSH4LeB You're obviously bad.

  • @FlaSH4LeB nooo in warcraft u have to micro specific units more... in sc it a hole different ball game

  • @4lm4pN About your commentaries about micro in SC > micro in WC3...... saying "RTS skills"... WC3 is a real RTS and requires as much micro as sc. Both games are micro-intensive. Don't joke on WC3 its just SC fanboyism. I bet any SC player would watch a big WC3 clash with shitload of spells and movement everywhere, almost making the fight unwatchable and wouldn't even understand what happened. See, it is easy to say such things.

  • @Polored1066 the average apm of the pro broodwar player is about 200 higher than that of the average pro war3 player because broodwar is a harder game.

  • Can you believe that any WC3 fan would probably watch this and comment by saying that WC3 micro is supreme and Grubby and Moon own all SC players with their "RTS skills" - HAhaHha ; DDDDDDDDDDDD

  • @4lm4pN Grubby is playing SC2... MooN was a SC player also

  • @FlaSH4LeB and who is Grubby on the SC scene ? Nobody. Thx. The fact that he played WC3 on top level means nothing on the SC world - watch some GomTv when Tasteless and Artosis who live with those players (Moon included) talk about how reality quickly cought up to WC players thinking they have any "superior" skills over SC players. Moon used to cast autoturrets with no reason at all in televised matches when he started playing so Grubby who is just making his first steps doesn't mean anything.

  • Jesus H. Christ ... everybody who has ever microed Goons knows that this was inhuman control ... I think Bisu is Seven of Nine's little brother.

  • @Gaius1968

I know, lol.. and what I'm so jealous about is for us sometimes when we micro dragoons it gets stuck at certain points or goes to the complete opposite direction of what you've order .. but I rarely (more like never) see that happen in pro games. Specially this guy (Talking about Bisu) who made it look like it was so easy to do :F

  • Bisu has dodged this comment.

  • just amazing, so much cooler then sc2

  • my god and he was microing against flash. flash did his vulture micro so perfectly but bisu fucking pwned!!!!!

  • what game was this?

  • He was probly like "holy shit, I'm so lucky my dragons happened to attack the mines", turned around and everybody was " OMG BISU, UR AWESOME, U MICRO AGAINST THE MINES", and he said "Of course, What did you expect me to do? ;) "

  • @CarlosAvilla lol

  • @CarlosAvilla You do not get lucky with dagroon AI. If he didn't micro them the would have just stood there and probably not have even shot.

  • @CarlosAvilla Dude, Dragoons are stupids. When they stuck in mines, they don't shoot, they move like stacked units that are trying to separate themselves, and die miserably.

If you don't micro the dragoons against mines, you lost your armies. I know, there are some cases when you can run, or use hold position, but in this case,, the mines were around and between the goons.

    That is not luck.

  • @CarlosAvilla successful troll.

  • @cmdrfun1 well to be fair I dont think his comment was supposed to troll, I honestly found his comment fucking funny cause it would be so hillarious if that is what actually did happend :P Ofc I dont think ANYONE can have THAT much luck but would still be fucking hillarious :P

  • LOL in the end they showed FlaSh's face! He was like... DUDE WTF?

  • Bet Bisu is also Godly at Minesweeper ...

  • Bet Bisu is also Godly at Minesweeper ...

  • WOW was that flash vs bisu. If i was flash i would've left LOL GG!

  • Absolutely amazing. To click on each mine with perfect accuracy and each with two goons and do it for more then a dozen mines is simply insane.

  • Even noob like me can do it easily.
