@ericfal10 No, its open sourced that's why its free, it originated from Linux, a virus free OS unlike mac or windows, it got ported later to those operating systems but it is definitely virus free.

i just installed lmms on windows 7 and it sounds extremely distorted i havent touched any of the settings but when i go to "my samples" everything sounds crackly and distorted am i missing a piece of software or something?

@mmmdubstep I think LMMS 0.4.10 has a problem : I have this problem too. I actually use the 0.4.9, it works perfectly ;)

Edit-->Settings-->Audio Settings and change the audio interface to SDL

@zezimatutorialspc it´s not fail. most of open source make versions for mac, linux and windows.then native windows programs only build for run on windows. it´s not a fail is a portability of software. if all developers do it don´t care about OS you use no?

Hi People, is there any way to record audio straight in to LMMS. I currently record the audio in to Audacity and then import to LMMS, but if there was an easier way I would appreciate it.

@m00nCh1ld714 Loyal user! But Linux is not as powerful for video editing in Sony Vegas Pro (what I now use). I actually don't think it works in a Linux environment.

My brother has Ubuntu on our really old former XP Compaq.
