Abhaya!! excellent video on the internals of Amar Chitra Katha. ACK has a special place in everyone's mind. I hope they leverage this advantage and create adaptations beyond the comic form, audio/visual etc so that kids of future generations can learn our history in this creative form.
That was fantastic. Our cartoonists have world class talent and it shows in the huge readership. Indian comics should be made available in DVD format or through iTunes to reach a wider audience.
Very pleased with this effort. During my childhood, I enjoyed Amar Chitra Comics immensely. Today, being a father myself, I am glad that these treasures are still available for my children (and myself!) to enjoy.
excellent video..stresses the role of creativity in making comics which in turn imbibe moral values in children...thanks for the post..i would appreciate if anyone could post stories from amar chitra katha, tinkle, panchatantra and so on..
I'm deeply surprised that this excellent video about the history of Indian comics is going unnoticed with just a mere 621 hits so far. It's a must watch for childern and adults who have been fasinated by comics and for those who do not know much about Indian comics. A very good effort by those who created it, and a very special note of thanks for the guy who poster it, cheers..
