this happened to me with a van in front today. I had left a metre between us, he moved forward another metre and then rolled back towards me. It wasn't until I beeped that he noticed. He had rolled back quite far without noticing
It was bizzare, it was on what I thought was a level piece of road and his brake lights were on
well at least he did wave back instead of giving you the finger... consider it exceptionnal.. btw same thing happened to me at an intersection except that the dumbass backed into me and scraped my hood even though I honked for a good 5 seconds steady... some people shouldnt be on the road..
@Irishgal333 It was in a public place so I do not believe so as there is no reasonable expectation to privacy on a public road. Also, I do not have the editing software to blur out the plate anyway so I cannot do so.
I would appreciate though if you could bring up the statute/law etc, which states that it would be illegal for me to have posted up this video if you can please?
Unfortunately, you need to be awoke to use it and she certainly wasn't. Not till I blew the horn anyway LOL. Then came the pathetic attempt to wave back an apology at me. If I did that to her, would it be good enough? I bloody well think not!!
Worst thing was I had just let he out of an estate down the road during that traffic jam. You try to be nice and then that happens!!!
The video could have been longer at the end but the language was after getting bad by then LOL!!
@Irishdrivingbloopers LOL. I actually just thought of something. It's illegal to use your horn whilst stationary. So are you supposed to just flash your lights and let them roll into you?
@04smallmj I didnt know that actually. Somehow I doubt that flashing the lights would have done much good lol.
I would just love it if she tried to say I hit her from behind if she hadn't braked in time though. I'd point out the camera and ask her if she was sure about that ;-).
I guess her car insurance is probably a lot cheaper than mine though. Go figure...

@Irishgal333 Which legal reasons? It's perfectly legal to post people's numberplates on the internet.

@04smallmj Since when is it illegal to use your horn whilst stationary ?
hereisthankappan 4 months ago
@hereisthankappan It states it in the British highway code, not sure about Ireland, but it's likely to be similar.
