Dear lord, on the military channel last year (7/6/09) at like 11pm, they showed COLOR FOOTAGE of the beginning of D-Day on normandy, comparing this to real D-Day, this is a movie an infant could watch. I almost puked 8 times, and couldn't eat for at least 3-4 days, but i didn't have my appetite back for about A MONTH! its messed up. No movie can show how gorey Omaha beach was

D-Day is something that is never meant to happen, and should never happen again. And with modern technology, it would just be beyond words. The worst part is like no one today knows anything about it, in my history class, half of the people didn't even know were it occured

He is really cool and after the war he was trying to fly to France and one of the people at the airport says he needs a passport. In reply he says he didn't need one last time he went there. The airport person says when was this. He says June 6th, 1944 D-Day
