@danduun It would provide some protection. For instance I dropped mine off my lap while getting out of my car and it was fine when I looked at it afterwards. I was devastated when that happened because I had just gotten the 4s but it looked like new.

Do the side stainless steel wraps help with "antennagate" issues on the iPhone 4?

I use a bumper because of the reception problem in touching that bottom left corner of the phone but I hate having a bumper cause it detracts from the style.. I'd love to have this as an alternative since it looks just like the antenna itself.
