@SaxonBrit Interesting question! Both are amazing places, with vast mountain ranges, windswept prairie, and surging rivers. I tend to like Wyoming a slight bit more, though, due to the abundant wildlife and isolation. Also IMO Wyoming's geology is fascinating.
@djravery Thank you. I have relatives in Cheyenne, but haven't ever been there. I suppose Wy. is alot more dry than Co. too right? More of the arid, though geologically interesting, places like the Red Desert, Devil's Tower and the western fringes of the Black Hills? Co. constitutes more of the green type of mountains I'm told, and two-thirds of the State is mountainous. Co.'s isolated lands are more of the lofty stereotypical Rockies, whereas Wy.'s are more semi-desert or plains?
@SaxonBrit Yes, definitely more arid.. tho Colorado has its dry areas, Wyoming is generally drier. I have been through Cheyenne, and its a beautiful town. Nestled on the high prairie, not far from the mountains. Speaking of aridity, Colorado has North Americas tallest sand dunes.
Scenery wise which place is more awesome Wyoming or Colorado?
