Before show we were told the view wasn't very good, couldn't have been better, I will remember this show until my dying day as will my wife.

@priya1992 Seeing this live was one of the GREAT experiences I have ever had in a theater. At the end, the audience rose as one and cheered and clapped for more than 5 minutes without let up. More excitement and emotion than I have ever seen. The cast came out for another bow, and we all just did it again! Still have goosebumps remembering!

i remember watching this when i was maybe 2 or 3? i thought it was one of the most amazing things i had ever seen. then again, when your 2 or 3, everything you see is amazing. This performance insipred me to do well in tap :)

I vividly remember seeing this at the time, I was neither a fan of the Eurovision or Irish dancing, just happened to be watching the telly that night. But when Flatley came out and started high stepping like I'd never seen before, I was screaming for everyone to come and see this, fantastic! And the Irish crowd's reaction said it all, what a feeling. Great that it has been developed since to include dance styles from all over the world. BRAVO!!!

Someone said that Bernadette Flynn is a better dancer than Jean Butler, but I don't know who Bernadette is. I just know that in this video, Jean seems to leap like a young gazelle. Bernadette was in Lord of the Dance. However, even though I just posted a positive comment about Michael Flatley, I had grown tired of him by then, so I did not see that or whatever FOF stands for.

Yes you are right,this is Jean Butler dancing here. I only wrote that in my opinion Bernadette Flynn(you are right again,she only danced in LOTD and FOF)dances more gracefully:-)Bernadette Flynn is like a feather ...as if gravitation had no effect on her at all:-))
