  • I really respect your modesty Vova. Much more likeable than the egotistical JGarfield.

  • What's the COOLEST thing about Vova? Before you answer "His AWESOME juggling," think about this: He met his gorgeous former girlfriend via his YouTube juggling videos. He plays CLASSICAL PIANO very well. He speaks perfect unaccented American English, having smoothly vanished his Russian accent in just 2 years. He lives in a custom-built California Mansion. He has a cool and friendly family. He can do a roundoff back handspring back tuck. Pick one or more of these things:)

  • @johnnations Well, the coolest thing about Vova is no doubt his cool and friendly family! ;-)

  • Hey Vova, I was wondering, what juggling balls do you use?

  • Martin Bashir is a retard

  • Thank you for saying that magical phrase--all jugglers drop. It's a genuine treat to watch you. Thanks for sharing your " very clean" art. You Rock!

  • im not nearly as good as u yet....but u r a big inspiration in my life

  • im not nearly as good as u yet....but u r a big insperation in my life

  • Will Vova Galchenko ever try clubs. I hope he does.

  • @masterlegend10

What do you mean? Vova always juggled with clubs and keeps juggling with them.

  • @Galchenko In my opinion Vova Galchenko is the best club jugler possibly the best juggler who has ever lived. Sorry I thought I sent 8 clubs. I meant will he ever try 8 club juggling.

  • @masterlegend10

No, he never tried 8 clubs.

  • @Galchenko Will he ever try 8 clubs though

  • @masterlegend10

Well, I guess finally Vova will try 8 clubs.

  • Your incredable! Do u know the juggler who goes by OlgaKay? That's her YouTube channel name too.

  • can vova juggle 10 and 11 balls?

  • true not many people like juggling =( they think its some kinda circus crap we need to make juggling more popular!! bring it back with style xD

V lyubom slychae, udachi tebe v tom, chto ti delaesh tak xorosho!

  • @KatyaKoelker

"...chem govorit, chto kazhdii v rossii beden i neschasten..."

    Вова этого не говорил!

"...prosto potomy chto eto ne sovsem pravda."

Конечно, более того это совсем не правда, но он этого и не говорил.

  • chestno ne xochy rugatsya i sporit i vse v takom duxe, no on skazal chto '' everyone is broke and angry'' da v obschem ne vazhno. Eto ego mnenie.

  • What I said about Russia is my honest opinion about it. In fact, my impression of it has gone further down significantly since I did this segment. We probably won't agree, but what would you say about Russia?

As for the American media, they probably liked that particular quote, because it's a "rugs to riches" story, and in my life Russia represented the "rugs" part. Russia is so far off most Americans' radar that I doubt American media ever attempts to deliberately slight Russia.

  • mne ne ponravilos kak on govoril o Rossii, i ,konechno, zhe amerikanskie media prosto sjeli ego viskazivaniya i bili ochen schasltivi.

  • 1:31 What is name of the song??

  • @clerkin74

"That Old Pair of Jeans" by Fatboy Slim.

  • has vova ever tried 8 clubs

  • he has not yet but claims to be able to, if he just tried

  • @ChrisHagadol

"...but claims to be able to, if he just tried"

    No, he never claimed that.

  • oh, i read something like that... thanks for the info, i do believe anyway he could ;)

  • @ChrisHagadol

    "i read something like that..."

Probably from other people, not from Vova.

"i do believe anyway he could"

I do believe that too, but after enough practice in it.

  • to ask the other way around: does he doubt he could?

  • @Galchenko i bet he could cause hes better than anthony gatto and he did 8 clubs

  • @OramaLama

    "hes better than anthony gatto"

Well, I don't think Vova is better than Anthony. I would say Vova is equal to him in clubs, but Anthony is definitely better than Vova in balls and rings.

  • @Galchenko i guess so

  • @OramaLama

No, Vova has never tried 8 clubs.

  • Wow! I really like your description of yourself, "I'm just a guy who throws things into the air."

  • Comment removed

  • you are amaizing, how many hours a day do you practice?

  • "how many hours a day do you practice?"

Vova practices about 3 hours a day.

  • The only time I will watch the news. Circus school at the age of 7 no wonder your so good since you started so young, Keep up the discipline! Btw the Fatboy Slim video you made was the first video I watched that made me want to juggle, I watch it every time I need inspiration.

  • Vova is not a nickname :) it's like Tom - Tomas - Tommy in america

and in Russia we havea Vladimir (it is using in the work etc.) and Vova (is more like between friends and family)

The saim is with Alexander - Sasha - Shura(Women, more for grandmothers)- Shurik(man)

    Great jugling btw ^ ^

  • Yeah, like Dave and David.

Dave on a personal level, and David on a formal level.

  • vova is soo cool!!

  • You're great Vova keep it up.

  • russian people are so awesome

  • you are why america works thank you

  • Um what? Russian's ain't Mexican or Jewish or queer. And at least Russian can form a sentence, unlike someone. And also I can see you have some mental disorders, since your name is poopfacedogcow.

  • is you boyfriend?

  • Oh, I see, you're from Canada...

    It's okay then =)

    XD

    (you fucking retard)

  • Nice to meet you, I'm Olga.

  • You are suck a awesome juggler!I am a fan of many of you, vova!

  • Nice vid, I hope there would be more stuff like this. Not just about Vova, but about juggling in general :)

  • I barely detect an accent, good on ya !

  • kool vova has a sweet american accent... juggling is much harder than it looks even with a basic 3 ball cascade.

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent Vova! Just so you know, I am at least one American who NEVER looked down on juggling. It surprises me that anybody would. I just get mesmerized by watching you! BTW, you were an incredibly fit looking youngster in that video of you juggling when you were 9. Too bad more American kids are not like you were when you were a little kid. But I imagine that juggling 6 or more balls can build up your arm strength and burn up a lot of calories in the process!

  • I'm in that vid diaboloing just before 5 minutes!

  • in this clip is the first time i've ever seen vova drop ANYthing

  • "in this clip is the first time i've ever seen vova drop ANYthing"

Well, you can see many drops in previous videos of Vova.

  • mental discipline my left toe nail, i have no discipline and no worry, but i can do a 5-3-3-5-1 with 5 balls (don't ask to see it yet, i need to perfect it) i will juggle till i get board then do something else

  • well when u get done mastering an invalid siteswap let me know....

  • i am so upset i wont be back this coming yr at the wjf, last yr was awesome!

  • i really want to be at the wjf this yr!

  • i really enjoyed watching this.

    thanks for uploading it vova

  • Too bad they didn't take the time to explain siteswaps... 97531 really isn't just three balls peaking at the same time. There's more to it than that.

  • tbh isnt it 4 balls peaking at the same time.

    the "3" is also peaking

  • maybe it was 7531?

  • it was a 97531

  • oh i see it ... duh lol

  • Klasnoe promo video. No nafiga na 2.53 v vozhdya brosat yablokami?

  • "No nafiga na 2.53 v vozhdya brosat yablokami?"

    Это не яблоки, это мячи.

  • Da pofigu. Zloi ty!

  • "Zloi ty!"

Кто? Это не я кидал, это Вова. :-)

  • Znachit On zloi. Kogda-nit emu postavyat pamyatnik, i prijdet kakoi-to pioner, nachnet 5 benzopil bodbrasyvat. A v konce vsex ix zhuzhashix shvyrnet po pamyatniku.

  • Когда Вове поставят памятник, я думаю, ему уже будет всё равно. :-)

  • Nekotorye sebe pri zhizni ego stavyat. Vse zavisit ot skromnosti , i koshelka.

  • Вова не из тех. Ну, по-крайней мере, я так думаю. :-)

  • good eyes -thegoheads.

    Go Vova Go!

  • oh and btw i heard it from the game grand theft auto 4 during missions you have to do with this russian crime lord name kenny petrovic...

  • "you have to do with this russian crime lord name kenny petrovic..."

Petrovich is a patronymic name refering to Peter. Kenny is definitely not Russian name.

  • I just know that Vanya is a russian name for males meaning "son of god" and which involves the name ivan. Thats what saw when i searched up wikipedia...

  • "I just know that Vanya is a russian name for males meaning "son of god"..."

I hear it the first time. :-)

"...and which involves the name ivan."

Well, yes. In Russia Vanya (Ваня) is a "tender" name for Ivan (Иван). But Ivan sounds like Eevan in Russian accented to the second syllable.

  • 5:03 GO MEAGAN!!!!!!!!

  • what does he mean by household name?

  • That everybody knows him.

  • as in- every household will know who he is

  • Mine does.

  • Does that mean "son of Vasili?" And, how is it written?

  • "Does that mean "son of Vasili?""

    What means "son of Vasili"?

  • Vasilievich.

  • "Vasilievich."

Yes, that means "a son of Vasili". We have patronymic names in Russia. Vova's full name is Владимир Василиевич Гальченко or in English letters Vladimir Vasilievich Galchenko.

  • really nice feature! glad to see you in these interviews, you really come across well

  • I can't believe they mentioned a (6x,4)*! I bet that confused a lot of people heh

  • Donny Osmond says that Stage fright hit him in 1996 out of the blue, and that it seems to have stemmed from his perfectionism. He overcame it by facing his fear and with a lot of therapy.

  • robot juggling ? did vova upload it ? (:

  • Congrats vova. I didn't know you were so big and well known. I've been watching your videos for over a year and a half now I think. Love 'em, keep it up.

  • Fantastic! I missed it again.

  • I love to see juggling in the media, even if they suck at explaining the siteswaps hahaha. This is very, very cool!

Vova, it was great to meet you at IJA! I understand that stage fright is something every performer has to deal with, but your performances at the IJA were AMAZING! You put on a great show, and I'm definitely voting for you for president! See you again at WJF5!

  • WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA?!?!?!?!?

holy crap!!!!! i come back from a week of all state choir and i get 5 messages telling me they saw me on TV... wow

haha, apparently i love you vova :D

  • That is so cool Meagan! You're a celebrity! ctjuggles was in there too!

  • No way! Really? Deserves a second look. Thanks thegoheads.

  • at 4:57 ctjuggles and bknobbs juggling clubs.

  • I have the same problem. I LOVE Juggling, but im terrible in front of audiences. I've gotten better at it, but sometimes I get so nervous, my hands shake throughout my performance, which obviously makes jugging just a bit harder ;). Hopefully I'll get over it.

  • Great interview Vova. Looked great. My next comment was in a response to "jimifun" I don't know why it got posted up here.

  • Cool!

  • vova you need to smile some more when juggling! :)

  • was that MGZolyn?

  • yes it was!

  • Yeah, that was Meagan in the IJA.

  • lol i guess so :P

  • I ordered 9 of those balls for about to weeks ago,and I can`t wait to get them.

  • This video is addictive, I've watched it several times. I think all the inspiration that gives me is the thing that makes me wanna see that over and over again.

  • if you dont get stage fright, then you dont really care about your performence

  • good observation. I never thought about it that way.

  • Hey Reeses, I'm a fan of the old show.

  • JoJ you mean? Well, good news for you, I'm working on Season 3 right now and planning to put it out by the beginning of September. Just check my profile for it.

  • Very, very, very untrue.

  • take it with a pinch of salt.

it is a phrase that is used to help actors. it makes them feel better about there nerves before a show. i can see it is not full blown fact, but what opinion is?

  • I do not agree on that, jimifun. I mean it is normal to become nervous before you go on stage. But stage fright is a serious problem if you want to perform anything. I think getting nervous and stage fright are two very different topics.

  • they are. i mean nerves.

  • great video vova

  • Congrats Vova

  • no the best description of some of the patterns but ok. i was planning on watching that on tv and then i forgot to turn it on. thanks for posing that.

  • At least you can know that the stage fright is totally natural, and normal, even though it sucks. I did magic in my younger days, but with each show - despite that every one of them went great, and I was well received by the kids (I did children's birthday parties) - I got more and more nervous before each party. I finally had to give it up, or spend all of my time puking. I couldn't handle the stress, and that was just for parties for little kids!

  • Also, I live in LA now, and a great number of performers are a mess before shows. A coworker ran into a pretty famous comedian in the bathroom of a nightclub. He was in the stall, throwing up. He cleaned up at the sink, then went out on stage for his act.

Apparently that happens to huge numbers of stage performers. They just have to learn to live with it, because they can't make it go away. Barbra Streisand even stopped performing publicly for about 3 decades, because of it. It's such a pain.

  • their

  • new balls

    i think

    there cool

  • vova sounds stoned at 1 20 no offence

  • nice interview i liked your answerds very well thought out and i have no idea how u could have stage fright your liek so amazing i just seem to get use to it after about 2 minutes of up on stage and realize that i don't care who's watching my every move but awesome work

  • Wow dude! i really cant wait till the wjf to meet you in person :D

  • Short and sweet. Everything you could have asked for in a seven minute juggling interview. Great job Vova.

  • That's awesome dude

  • they usually manage to screw up juggling on tv, but they've done this one justice.

  • Amazing vid dude!!! Keep your juggling like that!!!!

    ^ ^

  • i agree, very well presented on t.v

  • Brilliant explanation of what juggling is all about. And congrats on winning at IJA!

  • im am totaly agree with dominikluger:Juggling was never presented better in TV!!

  • Juggling was never presented better in TV!

  • i gotta tell you i think you had the attention before the fatboy slim video haha

i also saw this last night but it was cool dude nice job

  • you are so inspirational, i hope to see you at the wjf some day.

  • I made it on nightline juggling 5 clubs! (4:57) But seriously, this was really awesome. Definitely the best portrayal of juggling to the public I've ever seen. Vova, great job on being the face of jugglers =D

  • nice....saw it last night

  • Vova, the interview was amazing, I really enjoyed it a lot, you did very well!!!

I also use the basketball example when talking about dropping to non-jugglers, hahaha.

    You're the maaaaaaan.

  • That was a plain report, you done very well

(but they'll never know that 97531 is 5 balls into the air, instead of 753 ahaha)

  • Dear Vova, you are the best

  • It´s perfect, a perfect interview, in six minutes nobody could explain better what juggling is. congrats, and thanks vova

  • This was the best feature about juggling that I've seen on television. It was honest, straightforward, and even educational those who don't know much about juggling. (The visual explanation of the patterns was a nice touch.) The closing line to this feature was priceless, I don't know whether or not it was scripted, but it was a powerful closing statement.

    Great job to everyone involved.

  • That was top

  • i saw it last night! thanks so much vova for introducing juggling to the world!

  • I don't have TV so I couldn't watch it last night. Thank you so much for posting this though. FIVE STARS.
