LOL @ the Nigella impersonation. Hot dogs? Seriously? Don't make me put kielbasa in my ramen Martina! I've never put egg in my ramen but we do similar things to make a meal out of it. I use any green leafy I have on hand though I add it earlier than you. I also may add seasonings/herbs depending on what I'm adding to the pot. I also can't go without some heat. Sometime a splash of hot sauce or very small pinches (not those giant pro-chef pinches) of cayenne or chipotle.

I'm not insulting. Brushing your teeth and showering is still putting these bad chemicals in your body. To use bottled water to cook with is ridiculous, I can understand drinking only, but I've tasted and gotten sick from the water in a third world country and I don't believe Korea's water is as bad as these countries. I would expect it to be completely safe drinking water. Not to mention bottled water is coming from local sources and are exposed to the same contaminants.

I use a slicer to make 4 inch julienne slices of carrot and zucchini. I also chop some baby spinach and prepare some kim or nori by cutting it into similar sized strips (about half a sheets worth). Use double the water and add some extra seasoning and you have a nice meal from a cheap packet of ramen.
